Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl brings a lot of fighters to its Smash Bros.-like tournament. As the title implies, the game will pit beloved Nickelodeon characters against one another in a battle to the finish. Multiple fighters were revealed during the game's unveiling, but even more Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl characters have been shown leading up to the game's release.

Drawing inspiration from the company's deep well of IP, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl characters and locations come from a wide range of Nickelodeon's most recognizable shows. The reveal trailer for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl showed off several available stages, including areas such as the pineapple from SpongeBob SquarePants, the house from Ren & Stimpy, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Technodrome, among others. The fighters in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl show off a diverse array of combat moves, each one brandishing unique attacks endemic to their show and fighting style.

Similar to Super Smash Bros., Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl players can level up in order to expand the game's roster and increase combat knowledge. There are 20 available levels at launch, with room to increase as the game expands. It's unclear at this time if all stages featured in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl's trailers will be immediately available at launch, or if those will be earned through leveling up as well. While an initial roster for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl was announced during the game's unveiling, there have been multiple characters revealed since.

Some of these franchises, such as SpongeBob SquarePants, have as many as three characters represented in the game, while others, such as Rugrats or Hey Arnold!, have only one Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl character - at least so far.
