Former lead of The Bachelor, Nick Viall, revealed details about his upcoming wedding to fiancé Natalie Joy, including which of their Bachelor Nation friends will be invited. Nick and Natalie were first linked in 2019, but they did not officially begin dating until July 2020. They went public as a couple in January 2021. Nick revealed that he met Natalie when she slid into his Instagram DMs. For the past two years, Nick and Natalie have shared a supportive and loving relationship. Nick proposed to Natalie in January, and she said yes.
In an interview with E! News, The Bachelor's Nick Viall shared that he and Natalie are in the "very early stages" of wedding planning. Nick confessed that they are "definitely anxious to get married," and that they "definitely didn't get engaged to have a long engagement, so it's been great. It's exciting." He said that his friends have told them that once they find a venue, which is "the big hurdle," wedding planning gets a lot easier. He said that he is excited to find a venue, but it is also "intimidating." Nick shared that his and Natalie's goal is not "to have the biggest wedding of all time." Instead, it is important to the former Bachelor and Natalie to "involve people who know our relationship and know us. So I think that would be kind of the driving force." Natalie added that she wants a venue that is convenient and "super easy" for everyone to get to. She said, "I have a lot of older, sick family members that I want to come and I don't want anyone having to fly to Mexico."
Nick Viall & Natalie Joy's Wedding Guests Include Bachelor Nation Members
The Viall Files host revealed that the wedding guest list will include several Bachelor Nation members. Jared Haibon and Ashley Iaconetti are at the top of the list, along with Ben Higgins and his wife Jessica Clarke. Sharleen Joynt and her husband Andy Levine will also be invited. Nick called those Bachelor Nation couples, "the no brainers for sure. I think there's a lot. We have been lucky enough that we're good friends of that community. We'll see what we're able to do. We don't even know what kind of wedding it's gonna look like but most people are family for sure." Natalie added that Wells Adams and his wife actress Sarah Hyland will also be on the guest list.
Nick has many Bachelor Nation friends because he appeared on The Bachelorette seasons 10 and 11, during which he was the runner-up both times. He was also featured on Bachelor in Paradise season 3, in which he became a big brother figure to many of the contestants, offering them advice. This was a precursor to his job as the host of his podcast The Viall Files. Nick also starred in his own season of The Bachelor as well.
Nick and Natalie's wedding plans show that they know what is most important in life. They would rather have a more intimate occasion that their closest family members and friends will be able to attend. This is sure to be one of the most-anticipated weddings in Bachelor Nation history. Nick has been a fan-favorite since 2014, and it is wonderful to see him finally find his forever love with Natalie.
