Nic Cage fans may pride themselves on knowing everything about the talented Oscar-Winning actor and pop culture icon, but his love for cats is perhaps his most endearing quality. In order to celebrate the internet's favorite cat dad, this year's CatCon will have artwork depicting the celebrity and his adopted cat Merlin on display. Presented by Cat Art Show, which has brought together artists from around the world to celebrate felines, "Uncaged: The Unbearable Weight of Genius Cat Art" is set to showcase the seven original works based on the popular actor.

A longtime cat lover, Nic Cage adopted a black Maine Coon named Merlin back in 2017 and has since been very vocal about his affection for his pet. Thanks to his devotion, the internet has grown ever more fond of both the actor and his cat, making way for Cat Art Show to bring new original works from seven artists to CatCon. The featured art—which will be displayed at the event on October 1 and 2 as well as made available for sale online and in person—comes from Vanessa Stockard , Danial Ryan, Matt McCarthy, Brian Hoffman, Michael Caines, Brenda Chi, and Laura Keenados.
