New York Comic Con is just around the corner (October 5 8, 2017), and with it comes a fresh look at some of the hottest movies and TV shows coming at us in the next few months. With such a packed schedule, attendees will want to plan ahead to make sure they can prioritize their schedule between the great TV and movie panels, awesome guest signings, and more.In total, there are over 80 movie and TV panels to see, so be sure to check the official New York Comic Con schedule to see them all, but what follows are the top 11 panels most sci fi and comic book movie and TV fans won't want to miss.But first, make sure you have your tickets! World Premiere of Batman vs. Two Face

As a sequel to 2016's Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders, Batman vs. Two Face sees Adam West, in his final performance as Batman, re-team with Burt Ward as their classic 1960's dynamic duo, but in animated form. This time around, they will be facing off against Harvey Dent/Two Face, voiced by William Shatner, who goes on a crime wave across Gotham that brings Batman and the Boy Wonder into conflict with classic villains like Catwoman, Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Bookworm, Hugo Strange, and King Tutt.

After the screening, William Shatner, Burt Ward, screenwriters James Tucker and Michael Jalenic, and director Rick Morales will participate in a panel hosted by TV Guide senior editor Damien Holbrook.

DreamWorks Voltron: Legendary Defender, a Netflix Original Series

After a suspenseful third season, Voltron: Legendary Defender is already expecting a fourth in October, much to the delight of fans who are dying to know just what's up with Shiro and how team Voltron will push back against Prince Lotor and the Galra Empire.

Panel attendees will get to experience a special sneak peek at the highly anticipated new season during a panel featuring executive producer Joaquim Dos Santos, co-executive producer Lauren Montgomery and voice actors Josh Heaton (Shiro) and AJ LoCascio (Prince Lotor). Everyone in attendance at the panel will also receive a New York Comic Con exclusive poster from Lauren Montgomery.

Pacific Rim: Uprising

Pacific Rim 2 is "Larger Than Life"

The 2013 monster brawl that was Pacific Rim supposedly saw Charlie Hunnam's Becket and Rinko Kikuchi's Mako cancel the apocalypse with their Jaeger, Gypsy Danger, but that doesn't mean the apocalypse can't be rescheduled.

While plot details for the sequel Pacific Rim: Uprising are scant, director Steven S. DeKnight has put together an excellent cast featuring John Boyega, Scott Eastwood, Cailee Spaeny, Jing Tian, Rinko Kikuchi, Adria Arjona, and returning characters played by Burn Gorman and Charlie Day.

The panel, hosted by Aaron Sagers from SYFY Wire, will feature Boyega, Eastwood, Gorman, and Spaeny for an official unveiling of the movie's first trailer.

Exclusive NYCC First Look: Gotham By Gaslight

As the newest animated DC Elseworlds story, Gotham by Gaslight takes the classic graphic novel about a Victorian era Batman tracking down Jack the Ripper in Gotham City. A sneak peak was recently released, highlighting what appears to be an excellent animated film.

The Gotham by Gaslight panel and first look clips will be presented by producer Bruce Timm, director Sam Liu, screenwriter Jim Krieg, and some œsurprise guests.

Star Trek: Discovery

Star Trek is about to make a major return to television this fall on CBS's exclusive All Access streaming platform with Star Trek: Discovery. The series is set 10 years prior to Star Trek: The Original Series and features the voyages of Starfleet as they travel space in search of new worlds.

The Star Trek: Discovery panel will feature members of the cast and creative team for an in depth discussion about the franchise's small screen revival.

Hulu and Marvel Television Present Marvel's Runaways

Marvel has made its mark on the the big screen, broadcast TV, and Netflix, and it's about to expand that footprint to Hulu with Marvel's Runaways. Based on the comics of the same name, it tells the story of six teenagers, played by Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Ariela Barer, Gregg Sulkin, and Allegra Acosta that have to team up to face off against their own parents

Marvel's television head, Geoff Loeb, and executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will be present at the panel to reveal exclusive footage before the show's streaming premiere on November 21st.

Marvel Television Presents: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

About to head into its fifth season, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Marvel's first TV show, has seen it all, from Hydra to Inhumans to Ghost Rider to LMDs, and now, based on the end of season 4, space. Maybe even a S.W.O.R.D. connection? After the events of The Framework and the team's effort to thwart Aida, fans will be excited to learn additional details about the fallout of the season finale on Mac, Fitz, Coulson, and others.

To give the first peek at season 5, Jeph Loeb will be present with the show's entire cast and executive producers to debut some never-before-seen-footage.

Netflix Presents Marvel's The Punisher

After Marvel's The Defenders team-up officially released on Netflix, all eyes have turned to the platform's next MCU installment: The Punisher. With Frank Castle played by Jon Bernthal, The Punisher will continue the character's story from his introduction in Daredevil season 2 while also providing additional flashbacks to his time in the military.

The Punisher panel will feature a Q&A hosted by Marvel's television head and The Punisher executive producer, Jeph Loeb.

AMC's The Walking Dead

Heading into its eighth season, The Walking Dead is still showing no signs of stopping anytime soon for television's top rated show. After a season and a half of Negan serving as the protagonist, fans are definitely interested to see what the show has in store moving forward with him possibly taking a step back for much of season 8.

The Walking Dead's cast and executive producers will be present at the panel to discuss the end of season 7 and provide the first sneak peek for season 8.

Warner Bros. Television Takeover

Warner Bros. is bringing out the big guns for TV, combining its biggest shows into a single panel, including NBC's thrilling crime drama, Blindspot, Hulu's JJ Abrams adaptation of Stephen Kings' Castle Rock, and FOX's proto-Batman origins story, Gotham, as it heads into its 4th season.

The super sized panel will feature special video sneak-peeks and Q&A sessions with various members of the cast and producers from each show.

The Gifted

After the success of last year's Legion on FX, the X-Men universe is continuing to make its way to television with The Gifted, the story of a family on the run to protect their children with recently discovered œgifts from a government interested in tracking them down.

A product of the X-Men franchises top brass, Bryan Singer, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, Marvel's head of television, Jeph Loeb, and others, The Gifted panel will feature a first-look at the show's second episode.
