The War Hammer's two Mastery Trees are Juggernaut and Crowd Crusher. Juggernaut is an effective tree for dealing with Tank builds specifically, allowing players to pierce through tank armor and shake the ground around them. The Crowd Crusher tree is great for dealing with groups of enemies, but its area-of-effect abilities deal far less damage than the Juggernaut tree.
Despite its slower mobility, the War Hammer is still a great weapon for many builds, including DPS builds, Tank builds, and anti-Tank builds. - Clear Out (Crowd Crusher Tree): A wide swing that knocks enemies back four meters to create distance, dealing 115% weapon damage.
- Shockwave (Crowd Crusher Tree): Slam the hammer into the ground, causing a three-meter radius area-of-effect earthquake that deals 80% weapon damage. Applies a stun to all impacted targets for two seconds.
- Path of Destiny (Crowd Crusher Tree): A powerful ground strike that erupts a linear wave of energy in front of the player, dealing 110% weapon damage to all targets in its path.
The War Hammer is one of the best weapons in New World, and the best War Hammer build is Armor Breaker, Clear Out, and Shockwave.
