Here's what time the new trailer for The New Mutants is expected to be online tomorrow. Originally scheduled to release in 2018, it wasn't long ago that many wondered if the film would be released in theaters at all. Following multiple delays under Fox that called for substantial reshoots to director Josh Boone's film, the doubt surrounding New Mutants grew once Disney acquired the studio.

Despite the behind-the-scenes turmoil and speculation that the film could be released on a streaming service instead, Disney is moving forward with a theatrical release. New Mutants is slated to hit theaters in April and holds a great young cast: Anya Taylor-Joy (Glass) as Magik, Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) as Wolfsbane, and Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things) as Cannonball. Fox released a rousing trailer for the movie in 2017, but no other footage has been released since due to the troubled post-production process.

That will change tomorrow when Fox/Disney release a new trailer for New Mutants. Boone confirmed last week that the new trailer will be released online on Monday. So when can curious fans expect to see what New Mutants has to offer? Well, an official New Mutants social media post with the number 0106200600 can be decoded to reveal that the trailer was drop on January 1st, 2020, at 6:00 am PST, or 9:00 am EST.

To say that this new trailer is a long time coming is an understatement, but that's exactly why it is a strangely exciting trailer to see. The original New Mutants trailer showed a superhero movie unlike any that have come before. Instead of tinkering with that approach to either make it scarier - or lessen the scares depending on the report - the film is now going to arrive as the horror film Boone always wanted it to be.

Hopefully, it is this horror tone that is once again communicated through the upcoming New Mutants trailer. The two-year-old first trailer only teased the location that these young mutants are trapped in, but there was no display of their individual powers. Seeing Maisie Williams transform into Wolfsbane would be an exciting moment to include potentially. The new trailer could also feature a glimpse of Demon Bear, which is one of the threats that they will face. Since this could be the final trailer that Fox/Disney release for The New Mutants, it will be fascinating to see how much they decide to show to try and regain excitement for the film.
