Chris Pratt and Kurt Russell are having fun with their flubs in a second gag reel released by Disney and Marvel Studios in conjunction with Tuesday's debut of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 on 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD. While there's plenty of humor to be found in all of the movies in Marvel Cinematic Universe, no cast seems more off-the-cuff on the set than the stars of the Guardians of the Galaxy films, thanks to the irreverent writing and direction of filmmaker James Gunn.

While moviemaking is ultimately a very serious business, Gunn appears to run a pretty relaxed set for his actors to play in, and the engaging atmosphere is captured once again as the second gag reel highlights the behind-the-scenes blunders while making Vol. 2. In the first blooper reel released earlier this month, fans caught the likes of Russell nearly getting bonked on the nose as a camera zooms in for an extreme close-up, Sylvester Stallone having a rough time trying to say the word "Ravagers," and Michael Rooker dropping a bleeped F-bomb while filming his laugh-out-loud funny Mary Poppins scene (saying “I’m Mary Poppins f—ers!”).

In a second gag reel released Tuesday (which is about a minute-long sampling of a much larger segment on the video release), fans are treated to more mess-ups by Pratt, who is having fun in his early scene with Elizabeth Debicki's Ayesha; while Russell makes a faux pas referring to Star-Lord as "Star Wars."

Set to the tune of the first Guardian movie's signature song, "Hooked on a Feeling" by Blue Swede, the reel begins with various iterations of  Peter Quill/Star-Lord's long-lost intergalactic father, Ego, as he plants very unorthodox kisses on different mates he's encountered in the galaxy. In addition, several different cast members also appear to be dancing in sync with "Hooked on Feeling," and it looks so much fun that you can't help but tap your feet and smile along with them.

While there are several different bonus features on the Vol. 2 video release, the full gag reel is certainly among the best. Seeing Gunn and his cast yuk it up on the set serves as a great reminder of why we love the Guardians of the Galaxy in the first place. Yes, they face serious situations, but ultimately we can always count on them for a laugh to help us escape, whether their antics make the final cut of the movie or not.
