Although the series recently came to an end, we still can't stop thinking about our favorite New Girl characters. We grew to love all of the crazy people in apartment 4D, whether it was cat-obsessed Winston or control-freak Schmidt. Every person on the show had a memorable personality that was both exaggerated and hilarious.

Game of Thrones is another fantastic series with some of the biggest, most distinctive personalities out there. Each house in the seven kingdoms has distinctive personality traits that say a lot about their house members. Have you ever wondered which GoT houses your favorite TV characters would be settled into? If so, look no further! Here are your favorite New Girl characters placed into their Game of Thrones houses!

Schmidt: House Lannister

new girl schmidt

Schmidt from New Girl is, without hesitation, a Lannister. He is a type-A person who is dedicated to achieving perfection. Sometimes he can be a bit of a control freak, which is just the Lannister way.

He dreams of being famous and wealthy, and he wants to be best friends with Kanye West. Schmidt is a bit of a social climber who aims high and wants the best of the best. He is self-absorbed—that's for sure—and he won't stop until he gets exactly what he wants out of life. The ultimate lion.

Jessica Day: House Targaryen

New Girl Jess Day

Jessica Day is a thoughtful leader who isn't afraid to take charge. She is known for her constant desire to save the day, and her idealistic approach to life can sometimes get in the way of being able to see things clearly. Sounds a lot like our girl Daenerys!

House Targaryen has a reputation for being a bit crazy, and this is simply due to their fiery passion for whatever cause they care most deeply about. Jessica can go a bit crazy when she is sincerely passionate about a cause. Total Targaryen move.

Winston Bishop: House Tyrell

Winston Bishop is a character who would be best suited for House Tyrell. House Tyrell's symbol is a rose, and they are known for their beauty and delicacy. Yet, even roses have thorns, and, although Winston seems like a total sweetheart, for the most part, if you mess with something he is passionate about, you will be sure to get pricked.

For example, if you even think about insulting his cat Ferguson, he won't be afraid to take you down. Like the Tyrells, Winston is cunning and sly. This is most evident when it comes to his pranks. Yet, sometimes, his pranks go way too far, and, sometimes, they don't go far enough. It's just a classic Cece and Winston mess-around...

Cece: House Baratheon

Cece is a great example of a character who is best fit for House Baratheon. Being the storm lords that they are, this house has a reputation for having a bit of a short temper.

Cecelia is a cold woman, and she isn't afraid to shy away from this fact. While her best friend Jess is warm and flowery, Cece is ice-cold and ready to say whatever dig comes to her mind. She refuses to hold back, and Schmidt can't help but feel drawn to this opinionated, domineering woman. She would fit in well with House Baratheon.

Coach: House Baratheon

Coach and May hug in New Girl

Coach from New Girl would also be most suitably fit for House Baratheon. This house is extremely action-oriented just like Coach, and they refuse to hold back from doing whatever it takes to rise to the top. They prefer to be brutally honest when it comes to their thoughts and opinions, so they never hold back from saying exactly what's on their mind. This is Coach's approach to life. For example, when he makes it clear to Jess that he simply doesn't like her, he's being brutally honest, and he's not pretending to be someone he's not. Classic Baratheon.

Aly Nelson: House Mormont

House Mormont may be a small house, but what they lack in size, they make up for with spunk and genuine strength. This describes Aly Nelson to a T. She may be "small enough to take a nap in a matchbox," as they describe her on the show, but don't let her petite stature fool you. Aly is one of the strongest characters on the show. Her spunk is what ultimately draws Winston in, and we think she and Lady Mormont would get along perfectly well.

Nick Miller: House Tyrell

Nick in New Girl

Nick Miller may appear lazy and unfit for the world around him, yet, once you get to know him a little bit more, you realize deep down he's actually a genius. This is pretty much the Tyrell way. They may come across as unthreatening to the outside world, but, once you really get to know them, you realize they're actually some of the most calculating and strategic houses out of all the seven kingdoms.

Nick may not be calculating and strategic, but he's got his streaks of brilliance that only come out to those he trusts most. For example, people underestimate him throughout the series, yet, he ends up becoming the most successful person on the show. Classic Tyrell.

Reagan: House Lannister

Reagan is the type of person to approach the world as if she is a queen and the rest of the people in apartment 4D are all her jesters. There is a reason her name "Reagan" sounds so similar to the word "regal" because that's exactly what she is.

She acts like royalty, and she has very high expectations for the people around her. It's no easy task to please Reagan, which is pretty much the case for all the high-maintenance Lannisters, as well. Her self-assured confidence makes Megan Fox's character seem perfectly fit for House Lannister.

Abby Day: House Targaryen

Like her sister, Abby Day is a bit of a wildcard, she's just not afraid to show it firsthand. While Jess is much better at presenting herself in a girly goody-two-shoes light, Abby unleashes her daredevil self to just about anyone she stumbles across.

She loves to engage in dangerous activities such as knife-throwing and sleeping around with Schmidt. Since House Targaryen has a rightful reputation for being off their rocker, we believe Abby Day, played to perfection by Linda Cardellini, would be perfectly fit for House Targaryen.

Bearclaw: House Mormont

Lastly, we have the unforgettable Bearclaw, played hilariously by Josh Gad. Despite the fact that Bearclaw had a small role throughout the course of the sitcom, he left a big impact on fans simply due to how funny and odd he was as a person. Now, it's not uncommon for New Girl to explore oddball characters, but, even in this show's universe, Bearclaw still stood out for being simply peculiar.

For starters, he refers to himself as Bearclaw. He also has sexual fantasies about spooky ghosts. Yet, despite all of his odd personality quirks, he is an incredibly loyal, dedicated friend. He always sticks up for the people he cares most about, even if he's just met those people that day. Typical Mormont move. Plus, let us not forget that Mormont's are from Bear Island—Bearclaw would practically rule that place.
