One of the greatest sitcoms of our generation is none other than Fox's New Girl. The series ran for seven seasons and earned several Emmy and Golden Globe nominations during its time. In this episode, the gang is playing New American when Nick and Jess are forced into her bedroom to kiss. Nick freaks out and say's he won't kiss Jess "like this" and instead climbs out the window much to Jess's (and fans) disappointment. Luckily, at the end of the episode, we get the moment we'd been waiting for when Nick pulls Jess in for a kiss before pulling away and saying "I meant something like this."
Schmidt Tells Cece He's Ready To Have Kids With Her
Schmidt's been in love with Cece since the moment he'd laid eyes on her but unfortunately winning Cece's heart was harder than he thought. After learning that Cece has broken up with Robby since he wasn't ready to be a parent yet, Schmidt swoops in to prove he's the one Cece should be with. He races over to her apartment and tells her that he's "ready to have kids with you if that's what you want." It's the perfect moment between these two but unfortunately, it's short-lived.
Nick Attempts To Make Jess Breakfast
This scene takes place in episode 24 of the second season of New Girl which just so happens to follow the episode where Nick and Jess finally sleep together. Wanting to make things special for Jess, Nick decides he's going to make Jess breakfast in bed.
Of course, nothing is ever easy for these two, and Nick's plans are interrupted when Jess's father shows up. Determined to carry through on his promise, the episode ends with Nick and Jess on the rooftop of the loft with a delicious breakfast set up for the two of them. Nick's Birthday Video To Jess
Everyone knows Jessica Day is over the top about everything in her life, everything except birthday's that is. Instead of constantly being disappointed by her birthdays not living up to her expectations, Jess has a tradition of spending them alone. Nick has planned the perfect birthday present for Jess, the only problem is he spent so much time getting it ready he forgot to plan the rest of the day. When everything seems to be failing, Nick and Jess show up at the theater only for Jess to be surprised by a video of all her friends, coworkers, and students wishing her a happy birthday. It's hands down one of the most romantic things Nick has ever done for Jess.
Schmidt Proposes To Cece At The Loft
After four antagonizing seasons of Schmidt and Cece pinning after each other, we finally get the moment we've all been waiting for. Schmidt is on his way to see Cece but when he opens the door to leave the loft Cece is standing there. Schmidt waste no time asking her if she's in love with him before launching into an epic declaration of his love for her. When Cece doesn't stop him, he gets down on one knee and proposes to Cece using a similar line he used on her when they first met, "Girl will you marry me."
Schmidt And His Bollywood Dance At His Engagement Party
Schmidt's known from the very beginning that winning over Cece's mother was going to be difficult. In the opening episode of season 5, Schmidt pulls out all the stops to try to prove that he's deserving of Cece's love and her mother's acceptance. Unbeknownst to Cece, Schmidt has been practicing a traditional Bollywood dance routine that he premieres at their engagement party. Cece is instantly blown away and enamored by the gesture but unfortunately, her mother isn't. Thankfully, Cece doesn't let her mother get in the way because she knows she's meant to be with Schmidt.
Reagan Surprises Nick At Schmidt's Wedding
Everyone knows Nick and Jess were meant to be together but that didn't stop the two from dating other people while they figured their feelings out. Nick's girlfriends weren't the best but Reagan (Megan Fox) was hands down a fan favorite, next to Jess of course.

While this episode isn't solely about Winston and Aly there's no denying that the two steal the show. Even after Aly has rejected Winston he still wishes her a happy "Cop-iverssary" because he knows how important this day is to her. Nick Dedicates His Book To Jess
Fans of New Girl are known to be patient thanks to the couples constantly messing up their relationships but that's not the only waiting New Girls fans did. After five seasons of hearing about Nick finally finishes a readable draft and when he returns to the loft the first person he shares it with is Jess.
