Spoilers for Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths #7 by DC Comics ahead!

DC Comics is teasing a new dawn for the universe, as the epic finale of Dark Crisis on Infinite Earths #7 will usher in what's coming next for the comic book publisher. DC shared that the last issue of the massive crossover event will launch the DCU into "an exciting new direction" for 2023, with the Justice League returning to take down Deathstroke's Dark Army once and for all.

DC dropped a major twist when it revealed that the current Dark Crisis event was a secret Crisis on Infinite Earths' sequel. The story featured the shocking Death of the Justice League at the hands of Pariah, which turned out to be another misdirection, as Pariah kept the greatest heroes in the DC Universe contained in pocket dimensions where he could siphon off their energy to bring back Infinite Earths. However, with the Justice League back on Earth and Dark Pariah and the Great Darkness soon to be defeated, the final issue of the crossover event will set the stage for what's next in the DCU.
