Gaming influencer AestheticGamer revealed that Capcom is going to announce a new title soon, but it won't be a new Dino Crisis game. Fans will have to wait to play a remake of the popular survival horror saga from the 2000s.

Last December, Capcom registered the Dino Crisis trademark in Japan. This move gave fans the hope of getting a remake or remastered version of the franchise. Arklay, an indie development team, is currently working at a fan-made remake of the original Dino Crisis for PC. Developed with Unreal Engine 4, Arklay's remake has a third-person perspective and fairly good graphics. For now, Capcom hasn't taken any action to impede its development. The renowned game company seems more interested in working at its best-selling franchise, Resident Evil

Influencer and gaming insider AestheticGamer revealed on Twitter that the next Capcom title won't be from the Dino Crisis franchise. The YouTuber first posted a photo of a dino inside a human womb. This attracted the curiosity of some fans, who thought AestheticGamer wanted to tease a new installment in the Dino Crisis saga. Pressured to provide more information, the insider tweeted "I will say this; the game that's going to be revealed pretty soon isn't a Dino Crisis game." He also reported that the upcoming title was supposed to be announced at E3, but it was delayed. For now, AestheticGamer doesn't know when the new Capcom game will be released.

AestheticGamer creates video clips about game development and aesthetics. His YouTube channel counts 32,300 subscribers, and many of his videos receive thousands of views. On the ResetEra forums, the influencer goes by the pseudonym "Dusk Golem". Recently, he leaked information about Resident Evil 8 and the Resident Evil 3 remake. Additionally, in the last few days, AestheticGamer revealed on Twitter that Konami is pitching two new Silent Hill games to some developers. However, he's not sure if the new titles are already in development or not.

The hype surrounding Dino Crisis' community-made remake demonstrates that the game franchise still has plenty of fans. Therefore, if Capcom has no intention of remastering the saga, it's certainly missing several revenue opportunities. On the other hand, after several tumultuous years, it's understandable that Capcom wants to focus on what makes its sales rise, i.e., Resident Evil. The game publisher recently stated that it's interested in remastering old IPs, so the upcoming game may be one of them as well.
