Get ready for the most dramatic season of Bachelor in Paradise ever. BIP has seen its fair share of proposals, heartbreak and scandals over its six-season run. Taking the best, and the most controversial, of Bachelor Nation and putting them all on a beach in Mexico to fight for each other's hearts tends to cause a lot of drama. Some notable events from previous seasons include the Stagecoach love triangle from season 6, and season 5's Jordan Kimball and Jenna Cooper scandal. On the brighter side, the show has also created long-lasting relationships, including season 2's Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert, and Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon.

There has been some drama on the other side of the show as well, with longtime host Chris Harrison permanently leaving the franchise. Following Chris' departure, it was announced that BIP would feature rotating hosts while the last season of The Bachelorette was taken over by alums Kaitlyn Bristowe and Tayshia Adams. David Spade has been confirmed to be guest hosting, along with Grammy Award-winning artist Lil JonUnbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star Tituss Burgess, *NSYNC band member Lance Bass and BIP bartender Wells Adams. While it's definitely a stark difference to the previous six seasons that have had Chris as a mainstay, it's exciting to see a shakeup in the franchise.

The season 7 preview just dropped, being billed as "Bigger, Bolder & Sexier Than Ever!" The trailer hypes up the fact that BIP fans have waited two years for the new season due to the pandemic. It also includes shots of fan-favorite Demi Burnett, former Bachelorette Becca Kufrin, and ex-BIP couple Kendall Long and Joe Amabile. This looks to be a source of drama in itself since Joe is with another contestant from Matt James' season when Kendall arrives on the beach. "Kendall's absolutely trying to stop this," Joe says in the preview. The trailer also includes fighting between both the guys and the girls, and even someone throwing a birthday cake into a fire.

Due to COVID, dates will also have to take place within the resort only, unlike previous seasons. All of the changes to this season will definitely make the show feel a little different, but according to this preview, all the usual drama will still be there.

While it will be exciting to see old favorites on the beach together, it will be hard to watch previous couples like Kendall and Joe no longer be together. However, if there's one thing that BIP does well, it's bring new couples together, so there will definitely be a lot of new relationship journeys to follow along with. Plus, it will be interesting to see different celebrities, especially Lil Jon, guest host the show.
