Marvel's newest Ant-Man from the far future has repeated Hank Pym's greatest mistake, as he accidentally unleashed Ultron upon the world. In Ant-Man #4, Dr. Zayn Asghar's experiments to make his timeline a better climate end with him messing with the timeline and unleashing a displaced All-Father Ultron on the Marvel Universe. Unfortunately, much like Hank Pym, the new Ant-Man's experiments led to the powerful villain causing chaos in the world.
Ultron is considered one of the greatest villains in the Marvel Universe, as the first Ant-Man, Hank Pym, created the super-intelligent robot. Unfortunately, Pym didn't think hard enough about the repercussions of creating Ultron and the danger the powerful and intelligent robot could cause if it turned evil - which is exactly what happened. The Avengers have battled many forms of Ultron over the years, but a new version of the villain has been unleashed thanks to Marvel's latest Ant-Man. The future hero accidentally freed All-Father Ultron leading him to clean up his mess with the other versions of Ant-Man from across time.
In Ant-Man #4 by Al Ewing, Tom Reilly, Jordie Bellaire, and VC's Cory Petit from Marvel Comics, the newest Ant-Man of the future, Dr. Zayn Asghar, is revealed to have accidentally freed All-Father Ultron. After Asghar uses time travel to try to scan different versions of Ant-Man to help advance his experiment to restore the climate in his world, he accidentally frees All-Father Ultron from Earth-14831, repeating one of Hank Pym's greatest mistakes by unleashing a dangerous version of the villain on the Marvel Universe.
The Future Ant-Man Teams Up With Hank Pym and Others To Stop Ultron
After accidentally repeating the original Ant-Man's greatest mistake by unleashing All-Father Ultron to the world after the villain had been imprisoned for thousands of years, the new Ant-Man teams up with Hank Pym, Eric O'Grady, and Scott Lang to take down their powerful opponent. Asghar ends up working alongside the heroes to put All-Father Ultron back into containment, as they prove that even the smallest heroes can take on the biggest threats.
At this point, it seems like a rite of passage for heroes using the Ant-Man name to be somehow involved with a powerful version of Ultron being set free in the Marvel Universe. But, thankfully, for Marvel's new Ant-Man from the future, repeating Hank Pym's greatest mistake ended with Ultron being put back into its magical prison while the Ant-Man from different timelines enjoyed a hard-earned victory.
