Michael Cimino has been added to the cast of Never Have I Ever season 4. Mindy Kaling's coming-of-age dramedy has been an absolute hit on Netflix since its premiere in 2020. The story focuses on Maitreyi Ramakrishnan's Indian-American teenager Devi, who, after experiencing a close personal loss and psychological trauma, tries to navigate her life as a high-schooler and dealing with her mother (Poorna Jagannathan). The show's 10-episode third season is scheduled to premiere on August 12, 2022, while Never Have I Ever's final season 4 won't be streaming until 2023.

THR reports that Love, Victor breakout Michael Cimino has joined the cast of Never Have I Ever's final season. The news comes as Cimino branches out to new projects after Love, Victor ended its three-season run on Hulu and Disney+, and it seems that the young actor is remaining committed to romcoms. Cimino is tapped to play Ethan in Never Have I Ever. His character is a skater and a heartthrob who will become the center of attention as he joins Sherman Oaks High.

With season 3 yet to premiere, it's hard to predict what Ethan's introduction will mean for Devi. Cimino is a talented performer whose charming, starry-eyed Love, Victor act landed him multiple award nominations and accolades. Considering he was so impressive on his previous show, it's possible that Never Have I Ever would want to tap into his comedic and amorous talents, establishing him as an endgame love-interest for Devi. Right now it's too early to speculate, but hopefully fans will learn more about Ethan soon as Never Have I Ever commences production on its final season.
