Netflix is constantly dropping new content around the clock which makes it hard for certain shows to stand out. Thankfully, Netflix launched its "Top 10" function last year which helps subscribers see what shows are being streamed the most at the moment. While not every new show manages to crack the top 10, Netflix's newest teen dramedy series Zero Chill did manage to break the top 10 in its first-week streaming.

With only ten episodes, Zero Chill is a fun and easy binge that will certainly leave fans wanting to watch something similar to the show. Especially since it might be a while before fans find out if the series will be getting a second season. Here are the best similar shows to stream that will fill the void for fans of Zero Chill. 

The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers - Available on Disney+

Zero Chill has a lot that gives it a broader appeal than most teen shows. For those that were a fan of the hockey moments on the show, The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers is definitely the next show to start streaming.

While The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers' first season has just begun airing on Disney+, it promises its viewers tons and tons of hockey content. Inspired by the hit Disney teen sports movie The Mighty Ducks, the series follows Evan, a 12-year-old boy who's just been kicked off the Mighty Ducks team for not being good enough. Determined not to give up on his hockey dreams, his mom helps him create a new team which leads them to an ice skating rink owned by the original Ducks' coach, Gordon Bombay.

Spinning Out - Available on Netflix

Spinning Out is the perfect next show for fans of the ice skating parts of Zero Chill, and in particular, Kayla's journey of figuring out if she's a pair or a solo figure skater.

The drama series released in January in 2020 and while it did cultivate a tight-knit fanbase, it was ultimately canceled after one season. Still, the show is worth the binge as it follows Kat Baker, a young figure skater whose Olympic dreams are put on hold after a serious injury. Unfortunately, Kat is unable to compete as a solo skater now but she does get another chance at Olympic gold if she chooses to become a pair skater.

Zac & Mia - Available on Netflix

While Zac & Mia doesn't feature any hockey or figure skating scenes, it does deal with teens dealing with cancer and trying to find their place in the world. This makes it the perfect show to watch for fans of Sky's storylines and Sky and Mac's relationship.

Adapted from the young adult novel of the same name, Zac & Mia follows the lives of two teenagers who find themselves undergoing treatment for various forms of cancer. While Zac and Mia start out as complete opposites, they soon discover that they have a lot more in common than they thought and become each other's best friends within the walls of the hospital.

Lost & Found Music Studios - Available on Netflix

Mac has a hard time fitting in with his new team in Zero Chill but eventually, he finds his place and forges friendships with his teammates. Lost & Found Music Studios is perfect for fans of the teamwork and found family element of Zero Chill.

Alexa & Katie is a Netflix original that follows the lives of Alexa and Katie, two childhood best friends who are determined to make high school memorable. Things are a little harder for these two since Alexa has spent the summer undergoing cancer treatment, but not even cancer can stop these two girls from having it all.

Never Have I Ever - Available on Netflix

Friendship is a huge part of Zero Chill and it's a huge part of Never Have I Ever which is why it's a great show to watch next. Not only that but both shows tackle real-life teen problems like crushes and jealousy.

Created by Mindy Kaling, Never Have I Ever follows Devi, a high school sophomore who is determined to rebrand herself as cool after a disastrous freshman year. The coming-of-age teen series is heartfelt and hilarious and the second season of the show is already being filmed.

Cobra Kai - Available on Netflix

While Zero Chill has a lot going on, one of the main plots of the show is Mac's relationship with his new hockey team. For fans of Mac's journey, Cobra Kai is definitely a show to check out next.

Inspired by the epic Karate Kid movies of the 1980s, Johnny Larence and Daniel LaRusso meet again, this time as adults who are living very different lives. While Daniel is now living the successful life he once dreamed about, Johnny decides to reopen the infamous Cobra Kai dojo.

Trinkets - Available on Netflix

Being a teenager is never easy, but it's especially hard when you're forced to move across the country or sometimes across the world. For fans who related to Kayla's struggles with being far from home, Trinkets is a great show to check out.

While it might not seem like a show about gymnasts and hockey players/figure skaters would have a lot in common, the fact of the matter is they do - especially since they're all competing for gold.

Make It or Break It follows the lives of four teenage gymnasts who all dream of competing at the Olympic level. Together the four girls must learn to compete individually while also working as a team to get the job done. They also deal with ordinary teen problems in addition to the "politics" of the sport's world.

Dance Academy - Available on Apple TV+

While Dance Academy doesn't feature hockey or figure skating, it does deal with an ensemble cast of teenagers who are passionate about their sport and will do anything to succeed making it the perfect show to watch after Zero Chill. 

The drama series centers on Tara Webster, the newest ballet student at the National Academy of Dance. Much like Mac and Kayla, Tara must adjust to her new life which involves her making friends and sometimes enemies at her new school all the while bettering her dancing talent.
