The Office's Steve Carell and Greg Daniels have come together once again for Netflix's latest hit, Space Force. The 10-episode sitcom is about General Naird (Steve Carell) becoming the first general of the newest military branch called Space Force, which protects America from — you guessed it — space.

A lot goes on in the course of 10 episodes, along with a cliffhanger finale. Although Netflix hasn't officially given Space Force the greenlight for a second season, Daniels and Carell are already talking about what comes next. Before that happens, here are 10 questions Space Force fan need answered.

Why Was Maggie Sent To Jail?

One of the biggest questions Space Force has for the second season is what happened to Maggie Naird. As the wife to General Naird, it was surprising to see her in the presence of his inauguration the one minute and in a jail cell the next. Throughout the 10 episodes, fans are left wondering what happened to Maggie as both Mark and Erin visit her in prison. Being locked away for 40 years is a serious offense, yet viewers are left in the dark.

Will Those On The Moon Attack China?

With Space Force successfully launching into space and landing on the moon, they were shocked to see that China had already claimed a spot. With a rocket full of U.S. astronauts and a destination to the moon already in sight, it was too late to land elsewhere.

Is Bobby Actually A Secret Spy?

Whatever happened to Bobby? Bobby started dating General Naird's daughter, Erin, but it didn't look like a love connection. Bobby is the liaison between the U.S. and Russia, so it was rumored that he was a Russian spy. Erin laughed it off when Captain Angela Ali mentioned it, but when Bobby is asking Erin invasive questions about her family life, it appeared like he was Space Force's snitch.

Will Erin Find Herself?

Erin Naird was happy and colorful at the beginning of the pilot. By the end of the episode, however, her physical appearance changed. Her style became less preppy, she missed her friends, and she didn't seem as proud of her dad as she was at the beginning.

After moving to Colorado from DC, Erin lost her way. If a second season comes along, it will be interesting to see if Erin finds herself and becomes more confident.

Is Life On The Moon Feasible?

Space Force became the sixth branch of the U.S. Military to protect the United States from afar. Part of General Naird's job is to also see if life on the moon (or in space) is feasible. Launching into space and landing on the moon is just the beginning of creating an American town in outer space. As soon as the researchers landed, they began worrying about the Chinese base instead of how to sustain life on the moon.

Will The Troop On The Moon Get Back Home Safely?

It's not known how long the troop on the moon will be there for — especially now that there's a Chinese base nearby. With a possible war occurring on the moon between the U.S. and China, fans can't help but wonder if the troop will be safe and if they'll be able to return home safely. Having guns on-board helped the troops feel protected, but once General Naird and Dr. Mallory had the shuttle take apart the guns, they're left on the moon without defense.

Will General Naird Keep His Position?

General Naird of Space Force and General Grabaston of Air Force have had an aggressive banter throughout the series. To be fair, when General Naird was promoted to first general, he thought he was taking over General Grabaston's position at the Air Force. He didn't know he'd be leading a brand new branch of defense in outer space. Since then, tension has been high between the two. General Grabaston even had a private conversation with Dr. Mallory about possibly pushing General Naird out and keeping Mallory on-board.

Will Dr. Mallory Give In To The Air Force General?

General Grabaston approached Dr. Mallory before the budget meeting about possibly supporting one another to take down Naird. If Grabaston can push Naird out of Space Force, he would keep Dr. Mallory on as Space Force's chief scientist. Dr. Mallory seemed uncomfortable with the conversation but he never put General Grabaston in his place or turn him down. It makes fans wonder if Dr. Mallory would ever go behind General Naird's back.

Will The Military Keep The Sixth Branch?

The first couple of years are very telling for General Naird and Space Force. If General Naird runs the sixth branch into the ground, who knows if POTUS will keep Space Force on. Not only did General Naird ask for a massive increase in his budget but it's questionable if he has what it takes to run it successfully. Sure, he sent a group of Americans to space earlier than expected, but if it's not run in a diplomatic way, who's to say POTUS won't nix the program?

What Will Come Of General Naird And Kelly King?

It was shocking when Maggie asked Mark for an open marriage. She's in jail for at least 40 years and believed that she and Mark needed to be happy while they were apart. They both missed the human connection and deserved happiness. They would stay married but explore other options for the next 40 years.

The only woman that Mark had his eye on was Kelly King, Space Force's civil contractor. Luckily for him, she understood his situation and was interested in exploring it. Will this relationship continue in season 2 or will it get too intense for the new couple?
