Netflix is rumored to be making a similar competition series to MTV's The Challenge that will reportedly feature former cast members from reality shows like Too Hot To Handle, Love Is Blind, and The Circle. Originally launched as Road Rules: All Stars back in 1998, there have been a lot of changes to The Challenge franchise over the years. As of 2022, MTV has produced 37 seasons of The Challenge, as well as two editions of The Challenge: All-Stars.

The series often features recurring cast members that come back for several seasons. Most of these competitors are cast after appearing on different reality shows beforehand. After starting as a crossover series between The Real World and Road Rules, the ever-expanding The Challenge franchise is now also known for casting former cast members from shows like Big Brother, SurvivorAre You The One?, Love Island, and more. Now, it appears that Netflix is rumored to be launching a new crossover series for its own reality TV stars.

Rumor has it that Netflix is producing a The Challenge-like series featuring the reality stars it created through its own catalog of shows. As seen in the tweet below, reliable The Challenge spoilers account @GamerVev shared a rumor on Twitter that Netflix is filming a similar show to The Challenge that will include standout cast members from reality shows like The Circle, Too Hot To Handle, and Love Is Blind, to name a few. In fact, according to this rumor, production for the crossover series has already begun in Panama. Overall, this would be a great opportunity for fan-favorite Netflix reality stars to come back for more.

In a subsequent tweet, @GamerVev clarified that filming in Panama hasn't started yet, which means that the potential contestants for this new Netflix show have probably not been sequestered away from their phones yet. Alas, the production crew is allegedly already in Panama getting ready to shoot this series sometime soon. The spoiler account also noted that Too Hot To Handle season 1 star Francesca Farago and season 2 star Chase De Moor are reportedly involved with the new show, which certainly would make a lot of sense. Altogether, this Twitter thread from @GamerVev has nearly 1,000 likes. Fans are also debating this rumor in a Reddit thread with over 330 upvotes and 170 comments.

Given that Netflix has been expanding its reality TV universe with new shows inspired by other hit franchises, it'd make perfect sense for the streaming service to have a similar show to The Challenge. At this point, there are also many contestants from Netflix reality shows to come back for a crossover show like this one. Alas, fans must stay tuned to see if Netflix will indeed go through with a The Challenge-inspired show.
