The Aquarius sign is a very independent sign, but they are also a sign that enjoys giving back. Most people born under the Aquarius sign are very curious about the world around them. They want to know everything they can about nature, but also about different cultures and the way other people live. Once they've acquired the knowledge they're seeking, Aquarius people have an innate ability to take action.

A lot of people born under this sign go on to become humanitarians of some kind because they not only have a thirst for knowledge, but also a love for helping other people, places, or animals. Taking all of that into consideration, here are a few Netflix originals that Aquarius will love, and a couple they should leave off their queue.

Love: Last Chance U

Netflix

The Aquarius sign is going to love this documentary series from Netflix because it highlights the struggles and determination of young men participating in junior college football programs.

A lot of the men playing on these football teams are trying to get a second chance at going to college or making it to the NFL. Not only does it highlight a particular team, but as a bigger picture, it really brings awareness to the necessity of programs like these and how impactful they can be on a person's life.

Hate: Murder Mystery

Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler in Murder Mystery

Murder Mystery, starring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler is a movie that people born under the Aquarius sign should stay away from because it's not very original.

This film, though it does have its funny moment and Aniston and Sandler are always fun for anyone to watch on screen, falls short in the storyline and execution and there's nothing new or inventive about it.

Love: The Haunting Of Hill House

This show is not your average scary television series and the Aquarius sign will probably want to binge all ten episodes in the same day because they won't be able to get enough of its originality and incredible execution and direction.

The series sets itself up to be just another haunted house show to watch around Halloween, but with episodes like episode six titled, "Two Storms", it's undeniable  that this series is something no one has ever made before and that's exactly the type of show any Aquarius can get on board with.

Hate: You

You on Netflix stars Joe Penn Badgley

Most signs are able to find something entertaining about this thriller series starring Penn Badgley. The series is entertaining and weirdly addicting, but an Aquarius won't want to waste their time on it.

This is your standard thriller starring a bunch of attractive people, one of whom likes to stalk his love interests and kill anyone who gets in his way of being with her. There's nothing inventive happening on this show, so an Aquarius will probably lose interest pretty quickly.

Love: Down To Earth With Zac Efron

This documentary series starring Zac Efron will have every Aquarius watching it feeling very inspired. Each episodes takes viewers to a different part of the world to learn about things affecting our health and what the people in that particular place are doing to help one another and themselves live long, healthy, fulfilling lives.

The series takes us everywhere, from Paris to the rainforest, and Efron is a wonderful, curious, and open-hearted host, who is perfect for these types of adventures.

Hate: Virgin River

Virgin River: Mel and Jack poster

It's safe to say that most people born under the Aquarius sign steer clear of all the Hallmark Christmas movies that saturate our televisions and streaming services right after Halloween every year. The Netflix original seriesVirgin River, starring Alexandra Breckenridge, is like one long Hallmark Christmas movie.

It's clearly marketed toward people who love the formulaic, romantic storyline with a sense of impending doom or danger, and none of those things appeal to an Aquarius.

Love: Orange Is The New Black

ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK

When Orange is the New Black premiered on Netflix back in 2013, nothing like it had ever been released before. It was really the first show to release it's entire first season on the same day, allowing viewers to watch as many episodes as they'd like in one sitting.

This show pioneered "binge watching" and for that reason alone, any Aquarius is going to love it. They will also love the female-led production for its honesty and unapologetic nature as it tells these women's stories.

Hate: The Kissing Booth

A man and a woman about to kiss in The Kissing Booth.

This teen romantic comedy starring Joey King and Jacob Elordi is one that most Aquarius won't be able to sit through. The Kissing Boothbased on the book by the same name, tells the story of high school teen Elle who has a crush on her best friend's brother, which of course, will inevitably cause a rift in her longtime friendship.

The whole film is very predictable and surface-level and won't provide much entertainment for a curious Aquarius.

Love: The Crown

The Aquarius sign is going to love this series not only because of its story, but also because of the way it is told. The Crown is a historical drama following the life of Queen Elizabeth II. In the first season, the Queen is played by Claire Foy and this season shows the Queen's younger years.

With each new season, the Queen is older and facing new challenges and the series recasts its leads to fit where we are in the Queen's story. In the second season, the Queen is played by Olivia Coleman. The Aquarius sign will love how inventive the storytelling is and will be able to appreciate the real life stories behind the series.

Hate: To All The Boys I've Loved Before

This is another teen love story that Aquarius probably won't be able to get through and shouldn't start in the first place. Though this one is a little more creative in its storytelling than most of the romantic comedies based on young adult fiction, it's still a very predictable story executed in the same way as all the others.

The Aquarius sign could appreciate the family's storyline in the film, but overall, probably not the best option for the Aquarian energy.
