This weekend, Netflix is adding a supernatural comedy movie, a new animated TV series for adults, and the first part of the final season of a very successful Spanish series. Although most cinemas around the world are now open and active again and studios are finally getting a chance to release all those movies they had to delay, streaming services continue to be the preferred choice of many. Luckily for Netflix subscribers, the streaming giant continues to add new licensed and original content every week for all ages and tastes.
Last weekend saw the arrival of the action thriller The November Man, the horror movie The Old Ways, the romantic drama Really Love, and David Oyelowo’s The Water Man, along with the anime movie The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, the documentary Bob Ross: Happy Accidents, Betrayal & Greed, the drama series Clickbait, the Norwegian TV series Post-Mortem: No One Dies In Skarnes, and the rom-com He’s All That. As it does on the first days of every month, Netflix will add a bunch of licensed content, most notably the rom-coms A Cinderella Story and Letters to Juliet, the sci-fi movie Chappie, the dramas Cold Mountain and Dear John, the superhero movie Green Lantern, the musical fantasy Labyrinth, and the comedies Mars Attacks!, School of Rock, and The Interview.

Afterlife of the Party
Afterlife of the Party is a supernatural comedy directed by Stephen Herek and written by Carrie Freedle. It follows Cassie (Victoria Justice), a social butterfly who experiences the biggest party foul of all: dying during her birthday week. To her surprise, she’s given a second chance to right her wrongs on Earth by reconnecting with loved ones and prove that she’s worthy enough to get into the big VIP room in the sky. Also starring are Midori Francis, Adam Garcia, and Spencer Sutherland.
Q-Force
Q-Force is an animated TV series for adults created by Sean Hayes and Michael Schur and follows a group of undervalued LGBT superspies. Steve Maryweather (Sean Hayes), a.k.a. Agent Mary, was once the Golden Boy of the American Intelligence Agency (AIA) until he came out as gay. Unable to fire him, the Agency sent him off to West Hollywood to disappear into obscurity, but instead, he assembled a misfit squad of LGBTQ+ geniuses, joining forces with the expert mechanic Deb (Wanda Sykes), master of drag and disguise Twink (Matt Rogers), and hacker Stat (Patti Harrison), becoming the team Q-Force.
Money Heist – season 5A
Fan-favorite Spanish TV series Money Heist returns with the first half of its final season. The gang has been shut in the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours and they have managed to rescue Lisbon, but their darkest moment is upon them after losing one of their own. The Professor has been captured by Sierra and, for the first time, doesn’t have an escape plan. Just when it seems like nothing else could go wrong, an enemy comes on the scene that is much more powerful than any they’ve faced: the army. The end of the greatest heist in history is approaching, and what began as a robbery will turn into a war. The second part of season 5 will be available to stream in December 2021.
