This weekend, Netflix will welcome a fantasy movie based on a book, a documentary about a famous racing driver, an animated series, and season 3 of a comedy-drama TV series. Although cinemas around the world are open again and people are starting to go back to them, streaming services haven’t lost any force, as they continue to be the main source of entertainment for many amidst the coronavirus pandemic. Luckily for Netflix subscribers, the streaming giant still has a long list of content to add for months to come, and every week, it brings new licensed and original content for all ages and tastes.

Last weekend, Netflix added the music documentary If I Leave Here Tomorrow: A Film About Lynyrd Skynyrd, the buddy cop comedy Show Dogs, and the Nollywood movie Shadow Parties, along with season 2 of Kid Cosmic, the thriller movie Kate, and the final season of Lucifer. Just like last week, Netflix won’t see much licensed content this weekend, instead focusing more on original content, but it will add the martial arts movie Birth of the Dragon, the thriller Safe House, the sci-fi horror movie Dark Skies, and all four movies in the Jaws franchise.
