On the last days of October and the first day of November, Netflix will bring a new anime TV series, a rom-com movie, and a thriller movie to close Halloween season. With the coronavirus pandemic still going, theaters around the world are either struggling to stay open or closing again, while studios keep rearranging their schedules and choosing to send their movies to streaming platforms. Netflix has open doors for those movies that can’t get a theatrical release, but it also has a long list of original content ready to be added in months to come.

Last weekend Netflix added the drama movie Carol, the thriller The Hummingbird Project, and the comedy-drama Yes, God, Yes, along with part 2 of the Unsolved Mysteries reboot, the romantic thriller Rebecca, and the miniseries The Queen’s Gambit. This weekend, the streaming giant will add the thriller concert movie Metallica: Through The Never and the Norwegian historical drama The 12th Man – and as it does on the first day of every month, it will bring a lot of licensed content to enjoy, most notably A Clockwork Orange, Casper, Easy A, Knock Knock, Ocean’s Eleven, The Impossible, and all seasons of Dawson’s Creek.
