This keeps pushing studios to reorganize their schedules, and many keep opting to send their movies to streaming services. Netflix will continue housing titles that can’t get a theatrical release, and it also has a long list of original content to add in the coming months.
Last weekend, the streaming giant welcomed the thriller concert movie Metallica: Through The Never, Stanley Kubrick’s A Clockwork Orange, the fantasy comedy Casper, Eli Roth’s Knock Knock, and all seasons of Dawson’s Creek, along with animated series Blood of Zeus, the rom-com holiday movie Holidate, and the thriller His House. This weekend, Netflix will add the sci-fi movie Prospect and the holiday movies A Christmas Catch, Christmas With A Prince, and A New York Christmas Wedding to awaken the Christmas spirit and make way for more holiday content this month.

Love and Anarchy is an eight-part, comedy-drama Swedish TV series, Netflix’s second Swedish-language TV show after Quicksand. It follows Sofie (Ida Engvoll), an ambitious consultant and mother of two kids who meets young IT tech Max (Björn Mosten) when she’s assigned to modernize an old publishing house. An unexpected flirting game begins between them, and they secretly challenge each other to do things that question modern-day life – and even though it starts innocently, the game gets more daring and the consequences grow beyond proportions.
Carmel: Who Killed Maria Marta?
Netflix’s catalogue of documentaries keeps expanding, and its latest addition is Carmel: Who Killed Maria Marta?. This docuseries takes a look at the circumstances surrounding the death of María Marta García Belsunce, found at her home in 2002. Initially believed to have been an accident, a few weeks later it was revealed that she had been shot five times, and so an investigation began, with the case becoming one of the most controversial in Argentina.
Operation Christmas Drop
Netflix's Christmas content will begin this weekend with Operation Christmas Drop. Chasing a promotion, congressional aide Erica Miller (Kat Graham) forgoes family Christmas to travel across the Pacific at her boss’ behest. Once there, she clashes with her guide, Captain Andrew Jantz (Alexander Ludwig), who knows her assignment is finding reasons to defund the facility. The pilot’s pet project – Operation: Christmas Drop, a genuine, decades-old tradition where gifts and supplies are parachuted to residents of remote neighboring islands – has lawmakers wondering if his unit has too much spare energy. Despite their initial opposing goals, Erica softens once she experiences the customs and communal spirit of Andrew's adopted home.

Citation is a Nigerian drama movie directed by Kunle Afolayan and starring Temi Otedola, Jimmy Jean-Louis, and Joke Silva on Netflix this weekend. Based on real events, it tells the story of a bright student in Nigeria who takes on the academic establishment when she reports a popular professor who tried to rape her.
