This weekend, Netflix is welcoming a documentary series about a dangerous man, a survival drama miniseries, a romance movie, and a rom-com TV series. After recently dealing with controversy due to a massive loss of followers, the content of some of its comedy specials, and changes to its subscription plans, Netflix is shaking it all off and continuing with its release schedule, meaning that it keeps adding new licensed and original content every week – and this weekend will bring something for everyone, as there’s a variety of genres to choose from.

Last weekend, the streaming giant brought the comedy A Stand of a Worthy Man, the Argentinian mystery anthology series The House of Dark Secrets, the action movie Trading Point, the Nollywood movie My Village People, and the Indian movie Footfairy, along with season 4 of Virgin River, the final season of Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, and The Gray Man, Netflix’s biggest movie to date. This weekend, the platform won’t see much licensed content, with the addition of the comedy-drama August: Osage County, the documentary Shania Twain: Not Just A Girl, and the horror movie The Wretched, so all eyes will be on its original content.
