This weekend, Netflix is adding a new documentary series, a psychological thriller, and a fantasy series. As cinemas around the world delay their reopenings due to the coronavirus pandemic and studios continue to readjust their schedules, streaming services will continue to be the source of entertainment to many around the world. Netflix subscribers have nothing to worry about as the streaming giant has a lot of content lined-up, and keeps on adding new movies and TV shows every week.

Last weekend saw the addition of the movies A Kid From Coney Island, Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, The Long Dumb Road, and How Do You Know, and welcomed the Australian drama series Stateless, the documentary series Down To Earth With Zac Efron, and the action movie The Old Guard. On the licensed content front, this weekend Netflix will add Joe Wright’s Pride & Prejudice, the drama The Notebook, ESPN’s documentary series The Last Dance, and the Nigerian movies Sylvia and The Millions.

Over the course of six episodes, The Business of Drugs details how drugs push people into risky (and even deadly) behaviors, all through former CIA officer Amaryllis Fox’s investigation of the economics of six illicit substances: cocaine, synthetics, heroin, meth, cannabis, and opioids.

Netflix's Cursed is a fantasy drama series based on the illustrated novel of the same name by Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler. The series is told through the eyes of Nimue (Katherine Langford), a young woman with a mysterious gift who is destined to become the powerful (and tragic) Lady of the Lake. After her mother’s death, she finds an unexpected partner in Arthur (Devon Terrell), a humble mercenary, in a quest to find Merlin (Gustaf Skarsgård) and deliver an ancient sword. Over the course of her journey, Nimue will become a symbol of courage and rebellion against the Red Paladins and their complicit, King Uther.
