This weekend, Netflix is adding a lot of suspense with a thriller movie based on a novel, a horror TV series, and a stop-motion dark comedy for adults. The coronavirus pandemic continues, but cinemas around the world continue to operate as usual and welcome many of the movies that had to be delayed. Still, streaming platforms haven’t lost any force, and they continue to house movies that skipped a theatrical release or are coming to streaming shortly after hitting theaters, and in Netflix’s case, it also keeps adding new original and licensed content every week.

Last weekend, Netflix welcomed season 2 of the kids animated series Gigantosaurus, the Belgian drama Binti, the Nollywood documentary The Making of the King, and season 4 of Polly Pocket, along with the Italian rom-com Four to Dinner, the Mexican teen drama TV series Rebelde, and the Spanish horror movie The Wasteland. This weekend, Netflix will bring a variety of licensed content, with the thriller Under Suspicion, the drama The God Committee, Paul Thomas Anderson’s Phantom Thread, the African movie Hadithi Za Kumekucha: Fatuma, and the Japanese comedy Arigato: Jaru Jaru Tower.
