This weekend, Netflix is bringing some highly anticipated releases, such as the fourth season of an animated series for adults, David Fincher’s latest project, and a TV series about the life of a beloved singer. With most theaters around the world closing again due to the coronavirus pandemic, streaming services continue to be the main source of entertainment for many, as well as the solution for studios to release those movies that couldn’t hit theaters this year. Netflix has already been home to some and will continue to have its doors open for more.

Last weekend, the streaming giant welcomed the action thriller Hard to Kill and the Filipino fantasy comedy Fantastica, along with the music documentary Shawn Mendes: In Wonder, Ron Howard’s Hillbilly Elegy, the Christmas movie The Christmas Chronicles: Part Two, and the war drama Mosul. This weekend, and as it does on the first days of every month, Netflix will add a long list of licensed content, most notably 50 First Dates, Chef, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and the first three movies in the Jurassic Park franchise.
