For those into stories about heists in the style of the acclaimed series Money Heist, El Robo del Siglo is a good option for you to watch on Netflix this weekend. Inspired by true events, El Robo del Siglo follows the assault on Colombia’s Bank of the Republic, also known as "the robbery of the century", perpetrated in 1994 where a band of thieves stole $33 million and put the whole country upside down.
Project Power
Netflix's Project Power is a sci-fi superhero thriller directed by Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost. The story follows Art (Jamie Foxx), who teams up with a cop (played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt) to rescue his daughter from sinister threats behind a new drug that temporarily gifts users with superhuman abilities. The catch of these pills is that the user won’t know what superpowers they’ll get, and some exhibit a deadly reaction. Also starring are Dominique Fishback, Machine Gun Kelly, and Rodrigo Santoro.
