This weekend, Netflix is adding a new documentary series, a comedy series, the second part of an animated show, and a biographical drama movie. As the coronavirus pandemic continues, so does life at Netflix, and while other platforms keep changing their schedules to better adapt to the situation, Netflix continues with its plans as normal, adding new content every week.

Last weekend, Netflix brought the dramas Mine 9 and The Florida Project, along with the sci-fi thriller Code 8, and new content with the rom-com Love Wedding Repeat, the comedy series The Big Show Show, and the drama movie Tigertail. On the licensed content front, this weekend will have more material to choose from, with the arrival of Despicable Me, Hail, Caesar!, Jem and the Holograms, The Green Hornet, A Champion Heart, and the documentary Catfish (yes, the one that made way for the TV show).

Black AF is a single-camera sitcom created by Kenya Barris (creator of Black-ish) for Netflix. The series stars Barris as a fictionalized version of himself and uncovers the “messy, unfiltered, and often hilarious world of what it means to be a ‘new money’ black family” trying to get it right in this crazy and modern world, where there’s no longer a fixed concept of what’s “right”. Also starring is Rashida Jones as Barris’ wife, Joya.
