In October 2021, Netflix will welcome the third season of a thriller TV series, a slasher movie based on a novel, season 2 of a horror TV series based on a book series, a heist movie produced by Zack Snyder, and the final seasons of some of the streaming giant’s original TV shows. While cinemas all over the world are reopening, studios are finally releasing some of those movies that had to be delayed, and people are starting to go back to theaters to enjoy them amidst the coronavirus pandemic, streaming services haven’t lost any force. These continue to house some movies that skipped a theatrical release and are still the go-to source of entertainment for many. In Netflix's case, its subscribers have nothing to worry about as it still has a long list of original content to come for months and adds new titles (licensed and original) every month.
September saw the arrival of movies like Afterlife of the Party, Kate, and Nightbooks, along with TV series like Q-Force, season 5A of Money Heist, the final season of Lucifer, season 2 of Kid Cosmic, season 3 of Sex Education, and a new He-Man animated series. Netflix also brought movies like Green Lantern, A Cinderella Story, Mars Attacks!, The Interview, Birth of the Dragon, Dark Skies, and all movies in the Jaws franchise. October will bring a variety of movies for all ages and tastes, such as A Knight’s Tale, Awakenings, Gladiator, the first three Spy Kids movies, Insidious Chapter 2, Titanic, and a lot more.
As for original content, Netflix will bring the third season of a thriller TV series starring Penn Badgley, a slasher movie based on a novel, season 2 of a horror TV series based on the works of Joe Hill, and the prequel to Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead.
