Netflix: Every Movie & TV Show Releasing In May 2021

In May 2021, Netflix will bring the second part of a TV series based on a famous singer, a TV series about superheroes, a psychological thriller movie based on a novel, a long-awaited zombie movie, more episodes about the devil's adventures on Earth, the second season of a series of animated short films, and a variety of documentaries. Between the coronavirus pandemic and the arrival of new streaming platforms, the streaming wars continue to heat up, but Netflix users have nothing to worry about. The streaming giant continues adding new content every month, both licensed and original, from a variety of genres and for all ages so there's always something entertaining to watch.

April saw the arrival of TV shows like The Serpent, Shadow and Bone, part 3 of Family Reunion, and Dad Stop Embarrassing Me!, along with movies like Concrete Cowboy, Thunder Force, and the documentaries Why Did You Kill Me?, This Is A Robbery: The World’s Biggest Art Heist, and Headspace Guide to Sleep. Of course, the streaming giant also brought a long list of licensed content, most notably Insidious, Legally Blonde, The Pianist, The Master, Rush, August: Osage County, and Crimson Peak. This month, Netflix will welcome movies like the Back to the Future trilogy, Due Date, Mystic River, Notting Hill, Scarface, Zombieland, Layer Cake, and more.

As for original content, subscribers will get to enjoy the second part of season 5 of Lucifer, the second part of a TV series about a famous singer, a TV series based on a comic book series by Mark Millar, the highly-anticipated second season of a series of animated shorts, a psychological thriller based on a novel and starring Amy Adams, a zombie movie by Zack Snyder, and a variety of documentaries.
