August will bring a bunch of new content to Netflix, among those the return of the devil himself, a web TV series based on a popular film from the 1980s, new documentaries, and lots of movies. Although many theaters around the world were starting to prepare to reopen amidst the coronavirus pandemic, they were forced to delay their plans once more, with studios also changing their plans again. Luckily, Netflix still has a long list of TV shows and movies to add to its catalogue, and August will welcome a new wave of content, both original and licensed.
July saw the arrival of movies like A Walk To Remember, Cloud Atlas, Donnie Brasco, Mean Streets, Poltergeist, Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, and The Notebook, as well as new seasons of The Umbrella Academy, Cable Girls, and more. Of course, Netflix also added new TV shows and movies, most notably Warrior Nun, Desperados, Cursed, The Baby-Sitters Club, The Old Guard, Down to Earth with Zac Efron, and the reboot of Unsolved Mysteries.
This month, Netflix subscribers will get to enjoy movies like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, and the first three movies in the Jurassic Park franchise; new seasons of Lucifer, The Rain, and Aggretsuko; and new original content, including various documentaries.
