There are only a few days left until season 3 of Élite airs and fans are waiting with baited breaths to see what will happen to Polo after that finale. They also can't wait to see what will come of their favorite couples, including 'Omander,' 'Carmuel,' and 'Guznadia.'

Although all couples have jumped through rings to be together, Guzmán and Nadia appear to have a long road ahead of them as Nadia called time on their relationship. However, is this for the best - especially since she and Guzmán are suspects in another murder investigation?

No Guzman: Treatment Of Her Friends

If Guzmán wants a real future with Nadia then he's got to do a lot better when it comes to her friends. When Nadia, Samuel, and Christian first arrived at Las Encinas, Guzmán went out of his way to make their lives hell. Guzmán had incessantly mocked Samuel over his poor background and belittled Christian any chance he got.

This harassment got worse in season 2 when Guzmán began a vendetta against Samuel, believing his brother was responsible for Marina's murder. It's not exactly going to persuade her to date him if he keeps attacking one of her best friends. However, with Samuel and Guzmán teaming up in the season 2 finale, it looks like a new friendship is on the horizon.

Pro Guzman: The Pool Incident

Fans and Nadia began to warm towards Guzmán a little when the socialite refused to take advantage of Nadia in her inebriated state. In "Saturday Night", Guzmán stepped up his game when he tries to seduce Nadia at Samuel's party.

After the party ends, Guzmán invites Nadia to his house after the teen girl asks if she can go swimming in her pool. It looks as if the pair were about to kiss. However, Guzmán has a change of heart when and tells her the punch had been spiked. He then arranges for a cab to pick her up and take her home.

No Guzman: The Bet

Still, Nadia was forced to reconsider their whole relationship when she discovered the bet he made with Lu. As fans know, Lu dares Guzmán to sleep with Nadia after the teenager walked in on the two mid-hook-up. Guzmán gladly went ahead with the bet as he wanted to expose her as a hypocrite.

Nadia finds all of this out in "Saturday Night" when Lu confesses the plot out of jealousy. Nadia is disgusted and hurt that Guzmán even contemplated it. Instead of apologizing to her, Guzmán digs himself into a grave when he degrades her sexuality. He had to respect her more if he wants her to be his girlfriend.

Pro Guzman: The Pink Hijab

In the aftermath of Nadia finding out about the bet, Guzmán had a long way to get into her good books. However, he made the first step in earning her forgiveness when Guzmán promises to stay away from Lu and gets her a pink hijab as a gift. He doesn't stop there either as he asks Nadia what else he can do to make it up to her.

When Nadia tells him to beg her family for forgiveness and tell them how he tried to dishonor her, Guzmán believes she is joking. However, when he realizes she is serious, he wastes no time in doing so. He also invites her to their family's fundraiser to prove that he could be a good person. It's a significant step in building the foundation of friendship.

No Guzman: Outed Omar To Get Back At Her

Nadia and Guzmán's relationship was briefly strained in "Everyone Lies" when Nadia reacted negatively to Marina's HIV diagnosis. Guzmán decides to go round to the family's shop to talk to her about how rude she was to Marina considering they were friends.

When Nadia says to Guzmán that she shouldn't be associating with his family because of their issues, this upsets the male student. After spotting Omar returning, Guzmán then decides to reveal that to Nadia that her brother is a secret drug dealer and gay. Considering he said it wasn't his place to reveal Marina's secret, it was also not his place to reveal Omar's. Although fans understand he was hurt, this doesn't excuse Guzmán's behavior either.

Pro Guzman: His Agreement With Her Father

Guzmán began to redeem himself in the fans' eyes when he made a deal with Nadia's father to end their friendship. In "Assilah," Guzmán met up with Nadia's father and begged for her to be able to return to the school. Guzmán bargained that he would stay away from her if he accepted her terms.

Although Nadia would later scold Guzmán for making the deal, fans couldn't help but be touched by the gesture. It's not because he tried to be her hero but what the deal represented. It showed that he cared a great deal about her welfare and the future she dreamed of, proving that Guzmán could be selfless if he wanted.

No Guzman: Always Attracting Trouble

The thing about Guzmán is that he naturally gravitates towards trouble, which means a lot of people get hurt in the process. Fans first saw it in "Everything Explodes" when Guzmán incited a fight with Nano that resulted in Ander getting badly injured. Guzmán also brought Nadia into it when he sought sanctuary in their family's grocery shop.

Guzmán further horrified Nadia when he attacked Samuel upon his return to Las Encinas, which isn't exactly going to put him in her good books. If Guzmán wants their relationship to succeed, he needs to stop his desire for revenge and allow hatred to fill him.

Pro Guzman: Stopped Her Taking Drugs

Season 2 saw Guzmán was still suffering in the aftermath of his sister's death and was going down a dark and destructive path. He was excessively drinking, taking drugs, and constantly angry all the time. However, he soon put a stop to it when Nadia's health was put at risk.

This all occurred in "36 hours missing" when Guzmán, Lu, Valerio, and Nadia go to the club to let off some steam. As Lu meets up with Carla and Cayetana, Nadia spots Valerio and Guzmán sneaking off to take some drugs. After arguing with Guzmán about his substance abuse, Nadia insists she takes some as well. However, Guzmán prevents her from doing so - which emphasizes how he wouldn't want her to get mixed up in that lifestyle.

No Guzman: Their Hook-Up

While Guznadia fans rejoiced that their couple was on the verge of getting together, they couldn't help but feel like the moment was tainted by the fact that Guzmán was still dating Lu. Although Lu is certainly no saint, there was a grain of sympathy for the socialite when Guzmán cheated on her with Nadia.

Since Guzmán had been saying how in love he is with Nadia, he should have broken up Lu instead of stringing her along. It also makes fans question whether he could treat Nadia just as badly...

Pro Guzman: His Commitment To Her

Although they didn't end on the best of terms in season 2, this hasn't meant that Guzmán's feelings for Nadia are set to dissipate. After all, season 2 saw him end his relationship with Lu after he confessed that he was in love with her. However, Nadia is still hesitant to go all-in - especially since her family, Lu, and Valerio continually interfere.

Will this discourage Guzmán in any way? No. If anything, it looks as if his feelings for Nadia are going to be stronger than ever if the season 3 trailer is anything to go by. Hopefully, these two decide to make a go of it.
