Even though there is only one season so far, the reviews have been good, and the prospect to be judged and to work with the best in the industry is huge. The contestants are judged by Michelle Ogundehin, former editor-in-chief of Elle Decoration, and a rotation of guest judges of the trade.

There is no host or narration in the show, so instead, the owners of the home tell the story to give listeners an in-depth look at their home, and how they came to their unique interiors.

In the first season, the winners were given an all-expense-paid stay at an Instant Hotel in California, and in season two, the winner was prized $100,000. This show is entertaining and is a cool concept for a home transformation.

Together they build a strong team to refine the lives in select cities each season.

Queer Eye is not only a show to watch for the design aspect but as an all-around great show that can be extremely emotional. Queer Eye is heartwarming and is a strong advocate and representation of the LGBTQ community, which is something that should be seen more on a popular television series.
