Netflix's The Baby-Sitters Club is a hit with fans and it doesn't seem possible to find a more charming TV show. When Kristy Thomas (Sophie Grace) decides that it would be fun to start a babysitting group, her pals are into the idea right away, and it seems like the young entrepreneurs are off to a great start.

The friendship between the girls is heartwarming but even though the show's characters are all compelling, some are easier to root for than others. Life in Stoneybrook, Connecticut has its ups and downs for everyone, whether they're dealing with first crushes or getting used to a whole new family unit.

Watson Brewer

Watson Brewer (Mark Feuerstein) isn't a terrible TV father but he's not very easy to like, either. Although Watson tries really hard to get Kristy to like him, she's not so sure that she wants her mom to get married again.

Watson is the least likable character on The Baby-Sitters Club as he definitely tries too hard. He means well, but since he has so much money, he does try to buy people's affections a little bit.

Richard Spier

Mary Anne and Richard in The Babysitter's Club

Marc Evan Jackson's character, Richard Spier, is the rigid and traditional dad of Mary Anne. While it's admirable that he cares about his daughter's well-being, especially since his wife and her mom passed away, he doesn't let Mary Anne become as independent as she needs to be.

While he redeems himself before the final episode of the first season, it's safe to say that Richard doesn't have much of a personality and isn't as funny or kind as the other characters.

Sharon Porter

Sharon Porter (Jessica Elaina Eason) is definitely a hilarious mother. When she and Dawn move to Stoneybrook, she reconnects with her old flame, Richard Spier, and keeps living her bohemian lifestyle.

Sharon is a good mom but she's also very immature. She's much sillier and flightier than a parent should be, so it's hard to like her as much as Kristy's mom.

Karen Brewer

Karen Brewer (Sophia Reid-Gantzert) is totally adorable, but she is a bit of a precocious child, so at times she can be kind of grating.

While Karen has some cute moments, like when she's all about scaring her babysitters with her knowledge of the paranormal, she is also a know-it-all, which isn't a very good quality.

Mary Anne Spier

Mary Anne Spier (Malia Baker) is a sweet, shy, quiet girl next door kind of character. She's very endearing and she's an awesome friend to the rest of the girls.

She has a lot of trouble talking to strangers and friends alike, and also has trouble expressing herself when talking to her own dad. But as Mary Anne becomes more secure with herself, she becomes a much more independent character.

Kristy Thomas

Kristy Thomas is a great friend but she can be a bit hard to like at first. After all, she's super bossy (even by her own admission), and she wants things done her way all the time.

Everyone on the show has growing up to do since, of course, they're all young, but this might be true of Kristy most of all. She has to listen to what other people want and should stop being so aggressive. But even though she's a difficult person at times, there are moments when Kristy is so kind to her friends that it's really charming.

Stacey McGill

At first, it might seem like Stacey McGill (Shay Rudolph) is a little full of herself, as she's from Manhattan and dresses much better than everyone in Stoneybrook. She seems like she comes from such a fancy, sophisticated world, and everyone is amazed by her.

Stacey is also hiding the secret of her diabetes, so the girls are upset that she isn't sharing everything with them. But besides those rocky moments, Stacey is a real sweetheart.

Elizabeth Thomas-Brewer

Alicia Silverstone may be known for playing Cher in Clueless but her role on The Baby-Sitters Club as Kristy's mother Elizabeth Thomas-Brewer is definitely one of her greatest.

Elizabeth is kind-hearted and gentle. She understands that Kristy is having trouble coping with her new marriage and when Elizabeth gets upset with Kristy before her wedding, she still makes sure to say goodbye to her daughter before leaving for her honeymoon. Elizabeth always puts others first and does her best for her family, and she's easy to like.

Dawn Schafer

When Dawn Schafer (Xochitl Gomez) moves to the small town of Stoneybrook, she befriends the other girls right away and shows them it's great to find a cause and care about it.

Dawn is beyond easy to like as she's nice, funny, and compassionate. She has a bright, sunny outlook on life and even though she has to be the parent in her family as her mom is flakey, Dawn still has a good head on her shoulders.

Claudia Kishi

Claudia talks on the phone while another girl looks on from The Baby-Sitters Club

Claudia Kishi (Momona Tamada) is fashionable and creative and the most likable character on the show. She's got tons of witty comments up her sleeve and she has a great personality.

She would never be mean to someone or intentionally hurt their feelings, and she just wants people to get along. She also wants her family to accept that she's not academic and that she wants to focus on her art. There are so many things to love about this character.
