The Circle is a Netflix reality game show unlike any other, the main reason being that it revolves around social media, and players do not meet face to face! With a screen acting as a mask, players can choose whether or not they want to transform into someone else or let the truest version of themselves shine through.

Throughout the series, contestants played games hosted by the Circle platform itself to pass the time, have a little fun, and get to know each other better. The games brought upon laughter, good times, and even a bit of stress. Here are the games that were played on The Circle, ranked from worst to best:

State Your Case

In the tenth episode, it was announced that no new players would be entering The Circle, and then this game was played. Players had to convince everyone why they should stay in the competition over their biggest rival, and things got a little heated. As Shubham says, "In The Circle, your best friends are also your rivals; this could ruin that."  Shooby and Joey proved their bromance to be strong, even though they saw each other as their biggest rivals.

Ask Me Anything

In this game featured in the third episode, each person anonymously sent another player a question to answer. Several questions were about who people really were and who could be trusted.

Mercedez aka Karyn was ironically asked who she thought could be a catfish, and she said was convinced that anybody could be fooling the players. When asked about his alliances, Antonio chose not to share that he and Sammie had spoken about combining forces earlier.

Who Dis?

The second game played required a bit of pop culture knowledge. Players took turns being shown a picture of a celebrity, and they had to describe the person without saying their name for other players to guess. Stars such as "The Fonz," Chris Hemsworth, and Tina Turner all took their turns on the screen. The prize afterwards was a party for everyone. The better players did, the better their goodies were for the party. Players enjoyed some pizza, wine, and even some party accessories.

Ice Breaker

When contestants first "met" each other in episode one, they played a game fittingly called Ice Breaker. Players were shown a series of statements, and they each said whether they agree or disagree. Some statements included, "Money can buy happiness," and, "It's fine to send someone a nude picture."  As for who thinks it's okay to pee in the shower, the votes were split right down the middle, with Sammie being the only girl to agree!

Most Likely

The very last game played, shown in the eleventh episode, consisted of players voting for superlatives, similar to those often featured in a high school yearbook. When it came to, "Most likely to hold a grudge," people voted for Sammie and Chris, who both found it funny that they were chosen.

Who is most likely to run for president? Shubham, of course! He told everyone that he actually ran for governor of California once, although he came in second to last place.

Hashtag This

Throughout the series, players uploaded pictures of themselves to their profiles, and in the fifth episode, a game came attached to the most recent picture. Each person uploaded a new photo and gave it a hashtag. Other players then anonymously gave the picture a hashtag as well. Five out of six people called out Mercedeze, aka Karyn, for being fake, and people had their suspicions about Chris as well. Joey thought Miranda's picture was #strongbutsexy as she posed in another bathing suit pic.

Portrait Mode

In episode eight, a box of painting supplies was delivered to each player's door for the next game. Everyone had thirty minutes to paint a portrait of another player (chosen by the Circle), and then pictures were shared with the group. Chris' picture of Shubham surprised everyone by showing off his true talent. Joey, on the other hand, said he couldn't paint someone, so he chose to do a collection of hashtags ans symbols about Ed rather than an actual portrait. Sean's picture of Chris truly captured his queen essence to a T, complete with a unicorn horn and bright blue eye shadow.

Trivia Night

The seventh episode tested the players' random knowledge as they were split into two teams to play some trivia.  The team captains were two new players, Sean and Bill, who picked their teams based on everyone's profiles. To get into the team spirit, packages with buttons and team jackets were delivered to each player.

The teams were shown a topic, and each captain picked a member to go head to head. Team Sean won the challenge, and the players received a video message from home.

Nailed It / Failed It

In one of the funnest, messiest, and tastiest games, players had to recreate a cake from a picture, à la the popular Netflix show, Nailed It. Everyone received all the supplies they would need including cakes, multiple colors of frosting, fondant, and of course the picture of the cake they had to copy. After the allotted time, pictures were uploaded to Circle chat and voted on anonymously. Joey's was by far the sloppiest, although it was commented that the frosting flowers on Chris' cake looked like rainbow dog poop! Miranda's adorable masterpiece winning the challenge was just the icing on the cake.

The Circle

The best game by far is the competition that everyone came out to play and the reason audiences were glued to their television sets - it's The Circle itself! Players worked hard to try and become influencers, form alliances, gain popularity, avoid getting voted out, and hopefully win the grand prize of one hundred thousand dollars! Viewers watched players come and go, and in the end, the goofy and lovable Joey won it all.
