The Ghostrunner-like FPS platformer Neon White features two primary endings to conclude the game's story. After the final showdown with Green in Mission 12, the protagonist is given a choice between writing Green's name into the Book of Death or writing his name down in the Book of Life. Those familiar with real-world biblical lore in this Ghostrunner-style indie will know that the Book of Life is a record containing all those destined to go to Heaven after death, while the Book of Death is the natural opposite, revealing the souls that are fated for Hell.

Accordingly, choosing one of these options will affect the story's outcome in Neon White and what will happen to Green. However, those who have yet to reach specific prerequisites in their playthrough will only see "Write Green into the Book of Death" as the available option. The second will be grayed out with a white lock icon at the front. Nonetheless, the choice does offer a hint as to how players can unlock this second ending, "Not enough Memories."

Memories are events in White's story that occur whenever players progress through another character's Social Link. There are a total of 10 Memories that parkour and freerunning fans can unlock by maxing out all of their Social Links. Once players have these Memories, "Write Green into the Book of Life" will become accessible after the final boss fight.

Therefore, to recap, Neon White fans must complete the entire game to unlock the first default ending. This feat involves finishing every Mission from 1 through 12. While not every Ace Medal are not required for the ending, players will need to acquire several Ace Medals during their playthrough to progress the story. On the other hand, the second ending of Neon White is obtained by collecting all of White's Memories by maxing out the Social Links with every character. These characters include Red, Yellow, Violet, Green, Mikey, and Raz. This feat will also unlock the "Whole Again" Achievement.

It should be noted that if players attempt to replay the final boss fight in this FPS platformer, they will not be able to get an alternate ending since selecting this Level from the Job Archive will only replay the Level itself. Those aiming to replay the cutscene with the visual novel choices for the endings will need to replay the entire chapter of Mission 12 starting from the first Level.
