Any new player will have their hands full getting through NEO: The World Ends With You, and the endings will tie any loose ends the gang might have. There are some stipulations on the game's endings to get them, but luckily, there are not many endings, which means less time having to hunt for them. The endings are also relatively linear to get, making it very easy to see all of them compared to other games.

NEO: The World Ends With You is a sequel to the 2007 Nintendo DS game The World Ends With You from Square Enix, where the Reaper's game got introduced to players. In a condensed version, the Reaper's game is an opportunity for characters who have died to join the living. To win the Reaper's game, players have to beat challenges to move on to each day leading to a final fight with Phoenix Cantus. After the end of the game, players will have an opportunity to play a new chapter leading to more content that brings about the conversations of multiple endings for NEO: The World Ends With You.

How to Unlock Every Ending in NEO: The World Ends With You

There are only two endings to focus on in NEO: The World Ends With You, which makes the game a bit easier to manage. The critical aspect is that getting the endings is a linear progression, and there's no need to search for hidden items, unlock critical events, or get to a special place to get them.

The first ending is quite simple, playing the game through in its entirety and beating Phoenix Cantus. After defeating the final boss, the first ending is immediately after, with a few touching moments between the characters in NEO, especially Rindo. Once this first ending gets completed, players can access the "chapter select" option in the game's main menu. There, players will find the option for a new chapter called "Another Day."

In the newest chapter, players play another part of the game separate from the main storyline but still connected to the main game. Going through this chapter gives players the ability to gain a few extra pins in NEO: The World Ends With You, such as the Scarletite and Sfermion ones, leading to the Black Cat Uber Pin set. After completing the new episode, the second ending of the game gets achieved, giving the game's final ending.
