Fans will soon be able to return to the world of Naruto on the go, as there is an upcoming MMORPG for mobile phones called Naruto: Slugfest, which will allow players to take part in the story of Naruto: ShippudenNaruto is one of the most popular anime and manga franchises of all time, which has led to a number of awesome Naruto video games over the years, as well as a few duds.

The Naruto Naruto: Shippuden series has ended, but the sequel series starring Naruto's son, Boruto, is still ongoing. There is also a Naruto live-action movie in development, but it appears that development has stalled on that project for the time being.

A new Naruto mobile game is coming to mobile phones this year. Naruto: Slugfest is an MMORPG for Android and iOS devices that will be available in Spring 2020. The story of Naruto: Slugfest begins when Naruto returns to the Hidden Leaf village at the start of Naruto: Shippuden, which means that players can expect to quickly run afoul of Akatsuki. Pre-registration for Naruto: Slugfest is available now on the official website for the game via an email address. It's possible to pre-register interest in the game on the App Store/Google Play, but doing it through the website will let the player claim an in-game award when it launches. A trailer for Naruto Slugfest can be seen on the official YouTube channel for the game.

In Naruto: Slugfest, the player can choose from one of four characters that have been designed by the staff of the anime. There is the swift Thunder Assassin, the sword-wielding Earth Keeper, the healing Pyro Keeper, and the long-ranged Wind Shooter, all of which can gain new abilities and gear over the course of the game. The player can summon characters from Naruto to fight alongside them in battle, while taking part in Guild Missions, battling a World Boss, and working alongside or fighting against other players. Naruto: Slugfest will be free to download, with in-app purchases.

Naruto is no stranger to the world of mobile gaming, with games like Naruto X Boruto Ninja Tribes also in development for browser and phones. The world of Naruto has been crying out for an MMORPG and Naruto: Slugfest might the game that lets players experience their own ninja story.
