Naraka: Bladepoint features a small cast of Heroes with unique abilities, and one of the best characters for solo players is Tarka Ji. He's a fairly straightforward Hero to play as and unlike some of the other Heroes, Tarka Ji's abilities don't require much skill beyond targeting an opponent.

Those with an aggressive mindset in Battle Royales should play as Tarka Ji. This Naraka: Bladepoint character is about agility, and shutting down enemy attacks through his abilities. Most of what Tarka Ji can accomplish through his abilities requires enemies to attack him first. As the hot-headed flame manipulator, Tarka Ji literally fights fire with fire. Tarka Ji's Skill and Ultimate abilities are called Inner Fire and Blackout, respectively.

Inner Fire puts Tarka Ji in a defensive stance to block melee attacks, and issue a counterattack and burn debuff. Naraka: Bladepoint's burn debuff causes opponents to lose both health and armor at the same time for five seconds, as decreases their health recovery rate by 50 percent. Blackout envelops Tarka Ji in a flame, which grants him a huge agility increase and non-explosive projectile protection. As he runs around, Tarka Ji leaves behind a trail of fire that applies the burn debuff to enemies. As Cultivation quests are completed for Tarka Ji, Inner Fire will gain two new variations for both Inner Fire and Blackout. Like Talents, abilities can be customized.

How to Customize Heroes in Naraka: Bladepoint

The first new variation of Inner Fire in Naraka: Bladepoint, is Inner Fire: Bide. This move behaves similarly to Inner Fire, but includes a knockback counterattack that becomes more powerful as Tarka Ji takes more melee hits. However, Inner Fire: Bide does require Tarka Ji to actually take the hits first. The second new variation is Inner Fire: Gigaflame, where Tarka Ji hurls a huge fireball that knocks enemies to the ground, deals huge damage, and applies the burn debuff. It's perfect to use against enemies pausing to repair a weapon in Naraka: Bladepoint.

The other two variations of Blackout are Blackout: Vulcan and Blackout: Frenzy. The former also improves Tarka Ji's mobility, and allows him to hurl multiple fireballs. Once Blackout: Vulcan has been initiated, Inner Fire will stop cooling down. Blackout: Frenzy is the final variation, where Tarka Ji enters a state similar to default Blackout but with increased damage. Blackout: Frenzy depletes his Rage faster, but dealing damage to Naraka: Bladepoint's other characters will recharge it as it's being used.

The best skill combination for Tarka Ji to use is Inner Fire: Gigaflame with either default Blackout or Blackout: Frenzy. Both of these variations of Blackout can be used while Tarka Ji is under attack, allowing counterattacks or easily reposition. Inner Fire: Gigaflame puts more control in the hands of Tarka Ji, as it's his only skill that doesn't require him to take damage before using. Additionally, it gives Tarka Ji a ranged attack that can deal area-of-effect damage while applying the burn debuff.
