Nicole Byer is a famous comedian known for being the host of the Netflix baking competition seriesNailed It!. Besides her success as a host, Nicole has also done several stand-up shows and had many television and movie roles. She began her journey in the entertainment business in 2009 and has made quite the name for herself since then. If she isn't hosting, fans can listen to her on one of her many podcasts or catch one of her stand-up shows once the pandemic is over.

The 34-year-old was born on August 29, 1986, in New Jersey. Once she graduated high school, she moved out of New Jersey to New York City, where she waitressed while also taking classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade. In 2012, she moved to Los Angeles, where she attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and received a Certificate in Professional Performance. Since then, Nicole has gained a significant amount of notoriety in the entertainment business.

Nicole's big break into the comedy world was getting a spot on the MTV series Girl Code. The show features female (and a few male) actresses, musicians, stand-up comics, who discuss the wonders and woes of womanhood, according to Warner Media. Nicole later got her own MTV scripted series called Loosely Exactly Nicole, but the show was soon moved to Facebook Watch and was officially canceled after two seasons. Nicole also appeared in several different movies, such as Other People and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates. Nicole hosts several of her own podcasts. Her most popular podcast is Why Won't You Date Me, which was recently acquired by Conan O'Brien's podcast network, Team Coco. Nicole also co-hosts Newcomers alongside Lauren Lapkus and Best Friends with Sasheer Zamata.

The comedienne also came out with a book called #VERYFAT #VERYBRAVE: The Fat Girl’s Guide to Being #Brave and Not a Dejected, Melancholy, Down-in-the-Dumps Weeping Fat Girl in a Bikini, which was published by Andrews McMeel in June 2020. The book goes into Nicole's impressive bikini collection, tips on learning how to embrace your body, and her overall journey to accepting herself. Besides her wildly popular self-help book, Nicole has been thriving as the host of Nailed It! since 2018. The new season was recently added to Netflix on March 26. More recently, Nicole got her second hosting gig on the rebooted game show Wipeout. Nicole co-hosts the series alongside John Cena and Camille Kostek.

Nicole began her career in the entertainment industry in 2009 and has become uber-successful in the past 12 years. She not only has a successful career in stand-up, but is hosting more than one TV show at the moment. Plus, her book is sold in many popular bookstores nationwide.
