Chapter 2 Season 4 of Fortnite is already shaping up to be an exciting and challenging season with the arrival of so many new weapons, locations, and Marvel characters. During the season, players will face off against new NPC bosses with Earth's Mightiest Heroes in what has been dubbed the Nexus War. As in the past two seasons, players have the opportunity to unlock a special skin by participating in weekly challenges related to that character. In Season 2, players did this to obtain a Deadpool skin. In Season 3, players unlocked the Aquaman skin and its shirtless Arthur Curry variant. And, now, in Season 4, players can do the same with Wolverine.
While the challenges to unlock the Deadpool and Aquaman skins were fairly simple and straightforward, the Wolverine challenge for Week One is already appearing to take a little more time and effort for players to complete. It may be a real challenge to unlock all the cosmetics in the lead-up to the Wolverine skin. During Week One, players need to investigate the mysterious Claw Marks left by an angry, immortal mutant. There are many locations scattered around the map for players to see these claw marks, but they only need to find three to complete the challenge. Find Mysterious Claw Marks in Fortnite Season 4
All of the mysterious Claw Marks will be found in Weeping Woods, so players should head there to get started. There are five possible locations to find the claw marks, and players only need to investigate three.
Players have reported finding Claw Marks in the following locations:
- On the largest building in Weeping Woods: Look on the west side of the largest building, under the balcony under the wall.
- On a rock near the small pond: Look on the east side of Weeping Woods at the small, round pond between the two largest buildings. The marks are on a rock on the east side of the pond.
- On an RV in the lot: Look on the side of the green RV.
- On the a toilet stall: Look in the building south of the RV lot on one of the toilet stalls inside.
- On a fridge: Look inside the top of the rangers tower west of the RV lot. The marks are on the outside of the fridge.
For completing this challenge, players will earn the Berserker Blast spray cosmetic. They can move to the next Wolverine challenge during Week 2.
Players will unlock other Marvel character skins by reaching various tiers in the Battle Pass. Each character skin comes with its own set of challenges, Awakening challenges, as well, but these take place in reverse order: players unlock the skin first, then complete the challenges.
