My Unorthodox Life's 28-year-old Batsheva (Haart) Weinstein, the eldest daughter of family matriarch Julia Haart, is reportedly in the process of filing for divorce from her husband Binyamin "Ben" Weinstein. The influencer, model, and TikTok star married her husband, a New York City real estate broker, when she was just 19 years old. The marriage happened just before her mother decided to leave their orthodox Jewish community in Monsey, New York.

On the first season of Netflix's My Unorthodox Life, which has been renewed for a second season, Batsheva and Ben appeared together and documented the challenges in their marriage and their adjustment to life outside their former orthodox Jewish community. Last year, Batsheva posted a picture of Ben on their Oct. 17 anniversary, but this year, any public acknowledgment of their ninth anniversary was noticeably absent. In August, the couple did a Q and A video for Batsheva's YouTube channel where they gave marriage advice, such as establishing independence as a couple. But Batsheva also said repeatedly that 19 was too young to be married, and that if she could do things over again, she wouldn't get married that young.

On Wednesday, E! News reported that a family insider confirmed to them that the couple had split and that Batsheva will be filing for divorce soon. The report did not give any indication as to why the couple's marriage is reportedly ending. While one can only speculate as to why Batsheva seems to be leaving Ben, we know that Batsheva doesn't have much romantic experience and really hasn't been with any man in any way shape or form outside Ben. During the show, she revealed that she'd only been on two dates her entire life, and one of them was with Ben. Their marriage was arranged, but they did date for a short time before getting married. On the show, Batsheva said it took some time for the two to get comfortable with each other, but that they did find happiness.

Still, Ben was sometimes unhappy with Batsheva's attempts to move into the modern world. On the show, Batsheva revealed that she didn't wear pants until she was 27 because girls were only allowed to wear skirts and dresses below the knee in the orthodox community. She and Ben grew up believing that it was wrong for women to wear pants. Ben initially opposed her decision to wear pants, but later accepted and respected it.

Now that Batshiva is single, fans will likely be hoping to see Batshiva's experience entering the dating world for the first time at 28 years old with no real dating experience. Odds are it will be a surprising, engaging, and even awkward new part of the show. Batsheva may not even have any real idea of what she wants in a man or what kind of men she is attracted to. But whatever the answers to those questions, fans will be eager to find out next season on My Unorthodox Life.
