The North American My Nintendo store is now offering physical rewards based on Pikmin 3 Deluxe, which can be claimed by spending Platinum Points. Pikmin 3 Deluxe is a remaster of the Wii U title for Nintendo Switch, which includes all of the DLC from the base game, as well as adding new content.

My Nintendo is a service for 3DS/Switch/Wii U owners that lets them trade Platinum Points or Gold Points for various prizes. Gold Points are earned through purchasing DLC and games on the eShop, and they can be used to make money off future purchases. The Platinum Points can be earned through completing various missions on the store page. Nintendo recently started offering physical rewards on My Nintendo, though fans usually have to pay any postage fees for the item.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe is now available for Nintendo Switch. To celebrate the release of the game, Nintendo is offering physical rewards for the game in North America for the cost of Platinum Points. These items can be claimed through My Nintendo. As of the time of writing, these items are not available in Europe.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe Coaster

The items on offer include a set of four Pikmin 3 Deluxe Coasters and a set of Reusable Decorative Drinkware Decals bearing images of the characters from the game. Both items cost 400 Platinum Points, as well as shipping and handling fees. It's possible to earn 100 Platinum Points by finding five hidden Pikmin on the Pikmin 3 Deluxe website, which is helpful for the people who haven't been stockpiling them since the service launched. There are also wallpapers based on the five-types of Pikmin listed among the digital rewards for the game, for the people who need to stare at a Rock Pikmin every day when switching on their computer.

The rewards on the My Nintendo service were lackluster back when it launched, especially in comparison to the old Club Nintendo website. The addition of Gold Points, as well as physical rewards for games like Super Mario 3D-All Stars, are a far bigger incentive to use the service than the discounts for ancient 3DS/Wii U titles that were offered before. The decals and coasters aren't quite as awesome as the Pikmin keyrings that used to be offered by Club Nintendo, but they're still great items for fans of the series.
