EXCLUSIVE: A new My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission clip sees Deku colliding with Rody while attempting to thwart a terrorist plot. The latest film in the hit anime franchise sees U.A. High School students Izuku Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki and Katsuki Bakugo in a race against time to stop a terrorist group named Humarize who plans to erase Quirks that they believe can bring forth the end of humanity. When Deku and his new friend Rody also find themselves wanted nationwide for a crime they didn't commit, they must find a way to clear their names and save the world.

My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission marks the third film installment in the franchise following 2018's My Hero Academia: Two Heroes and 2020's Heroes Rising. The film also comes on the heels of the premiere of the show's fifth season on Funimation and ahead of the in-development season 6. After hitting theaters overseas this past summer, My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission is finally coming to North American audiences and Toho has an exciting treat for eager fans.

The exclusive My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission clip offers an intriguing tease for fans of the franchise for new character Rody and his dynamic with Deku. With the first trailer for the film having seen him primarily fleeing from the hero, the clip shows an expansion of the context behind his fleeing the scene and a hint of his transitional arc from a minor antagonist to a supporter of the protagonists. The video also gives a nice sense of the tone audiences can look forward to in the film, a nice mix of a light-hearted adventure with the more serious threat of the world-ending terrorist plot of Humarize.

Having hit theaters in Japan in the summer, My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission has already become another hit installment for the anime franchise. With a box office gross of nearly $30 million, the film is the highest-grossing of the three My Hero Academia movies thus far and has received mixed-to-positive reviews from critics, with some praising the animation and crowd-pleasing story while others have criticized it for a lack of innovation in its character development. Only time will tell how audiences respond to the film as My Hero Academia: World Heroes' Mission is now in theaters in both English dubbed and subbed versions.
