My Hero Academia imagines a world where powers are real and being a Hero is a profession. With a world now saturated with abnormal abilities, quirks have become a part of everyday life. Though with the constant mixture of quirks occurring, some have become too powerful to be stopped.

These quirks have the most potential whether they're being used to fight or save. Although they have become more powerful than the previous generation of quirks they still come with their restrictions, however minimal. In the end, the true measure for potential is all in how the user wields the power.

Black Hole

The Black Hole quirk in My Hero Academia

The Black Hole quirk is an unstable and extremely dangerous one. Thirteen's quirk, Black Hole supplies them with black holes coming from their fingers. They are able to disintegrate any substance, artificial or not.

Luckily, Thirteen is a hero because in the wrong hands this quirk could cause irreversible damage. Thirteen puts their own limits on the quirk by restricting its use to only rescue missions. They're fully aware that their quirk can disintegrate a great number of objects of any size, making it very destructive. Ultimately their hesitancy with using their quirk caused them to become injured in the U.S.J. incident by the villain Kurogiri.

Erasure

Eraserhead's quirk Erasure in My Hero Academia

Erasure is one of the most effective quirks in immobilizing an enemy without causing any damage to them or the user of the quirk. Aizawa Shoto or Eraser Head uses it in a fight to nullify the quirk of anyone he looks at. But he must be looking at a part of their physical body and it only lasts as long as he can keep his eyes open.

With such restrictions and not much power behind the quirk, it's not suitable for close combat. Of course, Eraser Head found a way around this by using Binding Cloth, though it is not a part of his original quirk. In the long run, Erasure is a handy quirk to have.

Creation

Yaoyorozu Momo possesses the quirk of Creation. It allows her to materialize any object from her body, as long as she understands the structural composition of the object.

Her quirk is only as powerful and limitless as her intelligence. The only setback the quirk has that she cannot control is the amount of time it takes to create each object. Obviously, larger and more complicated objects take more time, but with the combination of her imagination and intelligence, she can create any inorganic object to use in combat.

Explosion

Bakugo has proven time and time again that his quirk, Explosion, is both powerful and destructive, even garnering attention as a quirk a villain would have. Despite his quirk and attitude, Bakugo is not a villain and uses his quirk effectively in hero work.

By allowing him to use his sweat as an explosive, Bakugo's quirk can be used as a close-range or long-range weapon. It even becomes more powerful the longer he fights, making his quirk suitable for combat. Additionally, Explosion is used to propel Bakugo, increasing his speed. His quirk is only limited in cold weather because it takes longer to activate.

Half-Cold Half-Hot

Although Todoroki Shoto technically has one quirk, he's able to use it as two. His Half-Cold Half-Hot quirk allows him to create ice from the right side of his body and fire from his left side.

He is now able to use both sides at the same time making the quirk all the more powerful. He's used his right side to freeze entire buildings and used his left side to create walls of flames. There's no true limit to the quirk's potential, so long as Todoroki constantly alternates each side so as to not overheat or freeze himself. As he continues his training, his quirk will become limitless.

Warp Gate

Kurogiri-My-Hero-Academia

Warp Gate was first introduced in the first season. Kurogiri a villain who enshrouds himself within his quirk uses Warp gate to teleport things. So long as Kurogiri knows the exact position of transport, he can move any object or human.

Although the quirk is more useful to assist others, Kurogiri masters its use in battle. Warp Gate can be used to kill someone if it were to close on them halfway through the teleportation. He can also use it to disperse his enemies. A powerful quirk like Warp Gate has few limitations.

Overhaul

Overhail as seen in My Hero Academia

Overhaul is one of the more powerful quirks that had been shown on the show. It allows its wielder to disassemble and reassemble matter, which is why Chisaki Kai was so difficult to beat.

Overhaul works on all objects, living or not, making it a deadly quirk. The quirk itself is limitless, with only a touch, Kai has the power to disassemble only part of an object and chose whether to reassemble it. His quirk was only detained after his arms were cut off. Before this Midoriya had a difficult time beating him.

Decay

Decay is a quirk that allows Shigaraki Tomura to disintegrate anything he touches. The extremely deadly quirk is used to target living and non-living things. Decay works immediately and continues to spread in living victims and can create a chain if the victims are touching other people or objects.

In addition to his quirk, Tomura is good at fighting and is extremely quick. Opponents can't get too close to him for fear that he may touch them. The quirk can be used to destroy an opponent's surroundings or just kill them. The only limit is it has to be activated through touch. If Tomura lost his hands he would become quirkless like Overhaul.

All For One

All For One is a quirk that the boss of Tomura possesses and has taken as his name. The quirk allows him to steal other quirks and either use them for himself or redistribute them to others.

Like other powerful quirks, it is activated through touch, which is also its only downfall. It affects everyone who has or doesn't have a quirk and with it, All For One creates an army of powerful quirk users. Another limitation is that he is not able to steal One For All, meaning that the possessor of One For All is the only one who can defeat All For One.

One For All

One For All is a quirk that can be passed down from generation to generation of future heroes. The quirk originated when All For One gave his brother the Stockpiling quirk, that allowed him to harness power within his body. This quirk merged with his already existing quirk of Transference and became One For All.

The current wielder of One For All is  Midoriya Izuku or Deku. Although he is still learning to use the quirk, new quirks from previous hosts are starting to manifest themselves. With the combination of all these quirks, Deku will have limitless power and multiple ways to manipulate a battel in his favor.
