Hands down, one of the most popular anime of the past decade is My Hero Academia. Set in a world in which 80% of the population has a quirk (superpower), the series is full of unique powers with equally unique personalities. Much the like the students who attend U.A. High School, the teachers are just as fascinating and intriguing as the students, with many possessing eccentric and quirky personalities as well as powerful quirks. That being said, as is the case with the students, many teachers have quirks with varying degrees of power.

This article will rank the most powerful teachers in My Hero Academia.

Nezu

Nezu is one of the quirkiest characters in My Hero Academia, with the character being a very rare case of an animal manifesting a quirk. Nezu's quirk gives him high intelligence, which makes him ideal for his role as principal of U.A. High School.

While the character isn't powerful per se, he is one of the most intelligent and well-connected characters in the show, and this can easily be translated into power.

Snipe

Snipe is one of the most visually unique characters on the show, with the character's design being heavily inspired by the cowboy aesthetic. Fittingly, Snipe's quirk, Homing, grants him the ability to control the trajectory of any bullet that he shoots.

While the character's ability is incredibly powerful if he has a gun, his quirk is rendered completely useless if he doesn't have one in his possession, which is why he ranks fairly low on this list.

Midnight

Midnight is one of the funniest and most memorable characters in My Hero Academia. She is the teacher of Modern Hero Art History at U.A., and despite being a teacher, acts very flirtatiously around students (a trait that would make her unemployable in the real world).

Midnight's quirk is extremely powerful and useful as it allows her to release a sleep-inducing gas into the surrounding area, incapacitating nearby enemies.

Present Mic

Present Mic is largely seen as a comic relief kind of character, with the hero usually working as the announcer during events and pointing out awkward moments between certain characters.

That being said, we have yet to see the full power of Present Mic's quirk yet, and it is also important to remember that he is one of the most intelligent characters as he was one of the first to suggest that there was a traitor at U.A..

Vlad King

Vlad King is the homeroom teacher of Class 1-B, meaning that we haven't seen too much of the character aside from brief appearances in the background of the anime. That being said, he is still one of the most capable and impressive heroes on the show, even if his power is gross.

Vlad King's quirk is called Blood Control, and it allows him to manipulate and harden his own blood after it has left his body.

Cementoss

Cementoss is the Modern Literature teacher at U.A. High School and, as the name suggests, his quirk is related to the control of cement. More specifically, Cementoss is able to manipulate any form of cement that he touches, allowing him to use it both offensively and defensively.

In fact, Recovery Girl even said that Cementoss' quirk is one of the most difficult quirks to fight against. This easily explains his ranking on this list.

Thirteen

Thirteen is a hero who specializes in search and rescue operations. Her quirk, known as Black Hole, allows her to replicate the powerful suction of a black hole from her fingers. As with a black hole, not even light can escape the pull of her quirk, and anything sucked into her finger is destroyed.

The cosmic power of her quirk makes her an incredibly powerful foe. The main reason why she is not ranked higher is that she doesn't use her power for combat, using it instead for search and rescue.

Eraser Head

Eraserhead from My Hero Academia

Eraser Head could be likened to the Batman of the My Hero Academia Universe. His ability doesn't necessarily make him powerful, but the way he uses it does.

Eraser Head's quirk allows him to cancel out the quirk of his opponent as long as he is looking at them, allowing him to level the playing field in terms of strength.

Ectoplasm

Ectoplasm is an intimidating looking hero with an intense backstory. He lost his legs in the line of duty, yet this just made him even more unrelenting and determined than he was before.

His quirk allows him to produce ectoplasm out of his mouth and form them into clones of himself, with the hero being able to create up to thirty total clones. In addition to his powerful quirk, Ectoplasm is said to be one of the best fighters on the U.A. staff.

All Might

Who else could have topped this list? While some may argue that All Might is no longer the most powerful teacher as he has essentially lost his power, there is no denying that, at his peak, the former #1 Hero is the most powerful and experienced hero on the teaching staff at U.A. High School.

All Might has been in some of the most intense fights in the show, with his battles against powerful characters such as Nomu and All For One being contenders for the fight of the decade.
