My Hero Academia and Pharrell Williams are probably two names one would never expect to see together, but the result of the pairing is something fans of the hit manga and anime are sure to be ecstatic about; Pharrell Williams is launching a My Hero Academia clothing line!

No this isn't a fever dream. This is real life. The man who's known in the fashion world for his insanely large hat (talking Curious George's Man with the Yellow Hat big here) is now bringing his style sense to the world of My Hero Academia. Though most know him for his hit single Happy, Pharrell is actually quite versed in the world of clothing, having helped found Billionaire Boys Club and Icecream Shoes alongside Japanese fashion icon Nigo. The brand focuses on high end streetwear and has grown to be recognized around the world for its slick graphic design and overall quality.

It is Pharrell's involvement with Billionaire Boys Club/Icecream shoes that has brought about this My Hero Academia collaboration, having just recently announced this team up via their Instagram. The Billionaire Boys Club Icecream x My Hero Academia collab sees fan favorite characters from the franchise on various t-shirts. All in all there are five different shirts, each of which comes in either black or white, as well as a third color option specific to each character, meaning there are plenty of options to choose from even for those that only wear black. Of course the collection wouldn't make sense without the main character Izuku Midoriya, but the line also features shirts for Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, Ochaco Uraraka, and Eijiro Kirishima. Alongside the characters is the Icecream branding, so fans can not only flex their love of the series but the fact that they are wearing designer as well.

The collection is a super limited run, only available from March 13th through May 9th, so those that want to snag one of theses sweet tees better act fast. The shirts can be ordered here directly through the Billionaire Boys Club Icecream Japan website.

This release should help tide fans over as they patiently await new chapters of the manga and new season of the anime, as well as the upcoming feature film. The new film is set to be the third full length movie that the franchise has received, and with how successful the property has been as a whole, hopefully not its last. My Hero Academia has definitely made a name for itself over the last few years, and getting to see it recognized by stars like Pharrell Williams and big designer level brands is nothing short of fantastic for the future of the franchise!
