One of the most vicious antagonists of the manga series My Hero Academia, Himiko Toga, has been brought to life in a most menacing cosplay. My Hero Academia follows superheroes in training as they harness their astounding powers, known here as "quirks," to fight evil professionally. Himiko represents the antithesis of the heroes’ journeys as she has devoted herself to the unsavory cause of evil and crime, which is perfectly encapsulated in this stunning cosplay.
Himiko Toga made her debut in My Hero Academia Chapter 57 by Kohei Horikoshi. Since her introduction, Himiko has used her superhuman ability of transformation to inflict harm and cause mayhem in the lives of the series protagonists. Her biggest show of villainy was in the Forest Training Camp Arc where Himiko served as the main antagonist. While she had the villainous spotlight shined on her in that particular storyline, Himiko has been a consistent villain, serving as a member of the League of Villains before becoming one of the nine lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front. Plus, her villainy has not yet been squashed as Himiko is still, at large, in the current My Hero Academia continuity.
In a Reddit post by user gothpixi, the cosplayer is shown sporting the near perfect form of Himiko Toga. Complete with the menacingly enlarged grin and gothically villainous attire, the cosplayer perfectly encapsulated the look, style, and tone of the character. To make the cosplay even more impressive, it was completely handmade. In the post along with the picture, gothpixi wrote, “My Himiko Toga cosplay from My Hero Academia, all props were handmade!” Given the accuracy of the outfit, the fact that it was all made by hand and worn so brilliantly makes the entire look that much more astounding.

The sight of Himiko is enough to fill any hero with fear as she has proven herself a formidable and tricky villain to face. The idea of the character existing in the real world and not behind the veil of fiction is incredibly terrifying, especially when the character looks as she does in the cosplay.
