Debuting in the 2021 spring cycle, Full Dive: This Ultimate Next Gen Full Dive RPG Is Even Sh****er Than Real Life comes from the same author/artist duo (Light Tuchihi and Youta, respectively) that created the hit series, The Hero Is Overly Powered But Overly Cautious.

Full Dive follows the gullible Hiroshi Yuuki, who is tricked into picking up the most realistic Virtual Reality MMO game to date (though it was made 10 years prior). But the game is far too real for comfort, both in his lack of abilities and the pain it causes. Yamashita stars as Yuuki himself, a fool who is far too stubborn to quit a game with real-world consequences.

Horimiya - Shu Iura

Adapted from a manga that actually got a remake of its own (with original author HERO enlisting the talents of artist Daisuke Hagiwara), Horimiya tells the story of dual protagonists Izumi Miyamura and Kyouko Hori who stumble onto each other's closely kept secret.

A friendship blossoms from this event, and together they navigate their newfound relationship through the trials and tribulations of high school. Daisuke Yamashita voices the high-energy Shu Iura, a friend of the previously isolated Izumi and a lover of pranks who tends to jumpstart any activity the friend group partakes in.

Log Horizon - Touya

Virtual reality takes center stage once again in The Ones Within. Based on a manga by author and artist Osora, the anime tracks popular live-streamer Akatsuki Iride, who's a frequenter of the free-to-play video game "The Ones Within-Genome."

Things take a turn for the bizarre when he and seven others are forcibly transported into the game. Millions watch as Akatsuki and the others are subjected to high-risk challenges with their lives on the line. Yamashita stars as the protagonist Akatsuki, the kind-hearted gamer with a dark past.

Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro - Senpai

Quickly gaining steam as one of the buzziest new series, Don't Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro is one of the more unique romantic comedy anime. Adapted from the manga by author and artist Nanashi, the anime tracks the dynamic between Senpai (real name, Naoto Hachioji) and his sadistic kouhai, Hayase Nagatoro.

Adapted from the light novel by author Rokuda and illustrator Buriki, ORESUKI: Are you the only one who loves me? tells the story of sly and secretly foul-mouthed student Amatsuyu Kisaragi, the protagonist in his own self-indulgent romantic comedy where the goal is to score his own private harem.

But reality has other plans when he learns that two popular upperclassmen (Cosmos and Himawari) he's crushing on reveal their affections for his friend, Taiyou. Yamashita voices the aforementioned Kisaragi, scheming to win the hearts of every girl around him.

Yowamushi Pedal - Sakamichi Onoda

Adapted from a manga of the same name by author and artist Wataru Watanabe, Yowamushi Pedal follows anime and manga obsessed Sakamichi Onoda, happily pedaling his busted old bike over 50 miles just to grab the latest memorabilia. But when he enters high school, Onoda discovers that the school anime club is in rough shape.

At the same time, a member of the cycling club takes notice of Onada's skills on a bike and pulls him toward the world of competitive racing. Yamashita lends his talents to the aforementioned Onada, who must decide between his long-time obsession and his pristine skills on a bicycle.

No Guns Life - Tetsurou Arahabaki

Based on a manga of the same name by author and artist Tasuku Karasuma, No Guns Life introduces audiences to a world where there exist beings known as the Extended, humans who have been altered physically and transformed into walking weapons.

The protagonist Juuzoi Inui, one of the Extended, wakes up with no memories but learns that he is tasked with investigating his fellow physically altered beings. Daisuke Yamashita gives his voice to Tetsurou Arawabaki, the son of the CEO of a powerful corporation who was used in experiments and had his body physically altered as well.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind - Narancia Ghirga

True to its name, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind is legitimately one of the stranger anime series out there. Based on the long-running manga by author and artist Hirohiko Araki that has churned out many series and spin-offs, Golden Wind follows Giorno Giovanna, the son of DIO (sworn enemy of the Joestar family), who aspires to be a Gang-Star.

But things take a turn when Giorno draws the ire of the Passione gang, controllers of the Italian Mafia underworld. Yamashita lends his talents to Narancia Ghirga, the childish member of Team Bucciarati, and by extension, Passione.
