Whitney Way Thore from My Big Fat Fabulous Life loves to get fans talking, and they did just that when she posted a picture of her wearing a rather large diamond ring. Whitney is currently smitten with her new French beau. After a tiresome year of quarantine, the dancer is looking forward to branching out. Could her future plans include another engagement?
The Greensboro native has been unlucky in love over the last few seasons. In 2016, she had a relationship with the bearded artist, Lennie Alehat. The two seemed to get along well, and he even painted an interesting portrait of her. The relationship came to a quiet end, but the two remained friends. Then came UNC Charlotte frat boy, Chase Severino. The bar owner swept Whitney off her feet, and she definitely fell head over heels in love with him. While on vacation in Paris, Chase dropped to one knee to propose. Sadly, the happily ever after was short-lived. The two lived separately during the pandemic, and Chase ended up cheating. It was revealed that he fathered a baby with an old flame. Whitney now dreams of being a mom, and she is going through IVF to try and make that dream come true.
Whitney raised some serious eyebrows after posting a selfie on Instagram earlier this week. The NoBS Active owner showed herself in a beautiful blue dress while attending a recent play. However, her perfect fashion sense wasn't what followers noticed the most. They spotted the large rock on her finger. In a later post, Whitney placed her hand near her face so the ring would be in the shot. Naturally, fans blew up her comment section. The ring looked like a cluster of half-carat diamonds, and followers were asking Whitney if the Frenchman proposed. See the ring below:
In the post, Whitney, who has often dealt with trolls, revealed that she was inundated with questions about her ring. The body positivity activist shared that because so many of her followers had asked about the piece of jewelry, she would explain its significance. Whitney said the ring was on her right hand. Evidently, Whitney's mother Babs had gifted her the ring, which had belonged to her mother. Her grandmother left it to Whitney in her will. When her grandma passed away, the future reality star was just a toddler.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life fans were hoping for an engagement announcement. Currently, Whitney is on her way to her family vacation in Maine. The Frenchman who was supposed to meet her there sadly canceled at the last minute. Naturally, Whitney, who has had plenty of romantic woes in the past, was devastated. She really wanted to see him in real life. For now, the only diamond ring she will be wearing is the family heirloom her grandmother left her.
